FMIPA UNNES dan FMIPA UNY Sepakat Jalin Kerja Sama Implementasikan Program MBKM

Fakultas Matamatika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Negeri Semarang (FMIPA UNNES) sepakat menjalin kerja sama dengan Fakultas Matamatika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FMIPA UNY).

Kerja sama ini ditandai dengan penandatangan Perjanjian Kerjasama antara Dekan FMIPA UNNES Dr Sugianto MSi dan Dekan FMIPA UNY Prof Dr Ariswan MSi yang disaksikan langsung oleh Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum dan Rektor UNY Prof Dr Sumaryanto MKes AIFO di Lapangan Tenis FIK UNY, Sabtu (23/10).

Perjanjian kerja sama ini sebagai bentuk komitmen dalam mewujudkan Implementasi Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) dari kedua belah pihak.

Prof Fathur menuturkan bahwa saat ini kerja sama menjadi sebuah keharusan dalam menyongsong Program MBKM yang digulirkan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia.

“Saat ini, kerjasama menjadi sebuah keharusan terutama dalam menyongosong MBKM yang digulirkan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia demi memberikan kesempaatan bagi mahasiswa untuk mengasah kemampuan sesuai bakat dan minat dengan terjun langsung ke dunia kerja sebagai persiapan karier masa depan,” jelas Prof Fathur.

Prof Fathur menambahkan, pengambangan SDM dan peningkatan kualitas mutu akademik kampus menjadi komponen kunci dalam menjalankan kebijakan MBKM. Salah satu kegiatan yang mendukung peningkatan SDM dan mutu pendidikan yakni dengan melakukan kerjasama pendidikan antar kampus.

“Kini, kampus dituntut mesti lebih responsif dalam memerankan fungsinya untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang adaptif terhadap kebutuhan, dan tuntutan dunia nyata, terutama dari dunia usaha dan dunia industri (DUDI) yakni SDM yang adaptif, kompetitif, unggul dan berkarakter sesuai dengan tuntutan kompetensi abad ke-21,” tutur Prof Fathur.

Sementara itu, Rektor UNY Prof Dr Sumaryanto MKes AIFO menyambut hangat kedatangan Keluarga UNNES sebagai bentuk interaksi akademik yang harus tetap di jalin.

“Ini merupakan interaksi akademik antara UNNES dan UNY, untuk itu kami keluarga besar UNY sangat senang dengan kedatangan UNNES. Kami sudah menunggu lama untuk bisa menjalin silaturahmi yang kali ini dilakukan dengan penandatangan kerja sama antara FIMPA UNY dan FMIPA UNNEs, ini luar biasa,” tuturnya.

Selain itu, Prof Sumaryanto menyampaikan apresiasi kepada UNNES yang telah menjalin kerja sama dengan UNS salah satunya para alumni UNNES yang telah memberikan kontribusi kepada UNY.

“Alumni S1, S2, S3 UNNES ini telah memberikan kontribusi kepada UNY. Misalnya dari FIK ini, UNY sengaja banyak menerima alumni dari UNNES,” kata Rektor UNY.
Prof Sumaryanto berharap setelah penandatangan ini agar segera teralisasi agenda-agenda kerja sama yang telah direncanakan terutama implementasi MBKM.

Acara dilanjutkan dengan pertandingan tenis antara UNNES dengan UNY dan Focus Group Discussion Implementasi MBKM.
