FISIP UNNES Dukung Pendidikan Berkualitas Lewat Partisipasi Seminar Internasional

Dua mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) berpartisipasi dalam Seminar Internasional bertema “Optimalisasi Peran Polisi dan Masyarakat dalam Pencegahan Kejahatan Guna Terciptanya Keamanan Lingkungan dan Peningkatan Produktivitas Masyarakat Menuju Ketahanan Pangan Nasional” di Aula Pusdik Binmas Lemdiklat Polri, Banyubiru, Kabupaten Semarang, Rabu (22/10).

Kegiatan yang diikuti oleh para siswa Pendidikan Reguler Pusdik Binmas Polri serta mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi negeri dan swasta di Jawa Tengah ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kolaborasi antara aparat keamanan, akademisi, dan masyarakat dalam menjaga stabilitas sosial serta meningkatkan produktivitas ekonomi nasional.

Hadir sebagai pembicara utama Wakapolri Komjen Pol. Prof. Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, S.H., M.Hum., M.Si., M.M. yang menekankan pentingnya profesionalisme, akuntabilitas, dan keterbukaan publik dalam memperkuat kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap aparat penegak hukum. Turut hadir Kalemdiklat Polri Komjen Pol. Prof. Dr. Chrysnanda Dwilaksana, M.Si., Asisten Operasi Kapolri Komjen Pol. Dr. M. Fadil Imran, M.Si., serta JICA Expert Komjen Pol Jepang Nakanishi Akira yang berbagi pengalaman internasional mengenai kemitraan polisi dan masyarakat.

Dekan FISIP UNNES Prof. Arif Purnomo, yang mendampingi dua mahasiswa peserta, menyampaikan bahwa seminar ini menjadi wadah pembelajaran nyata bagi mahasiswa untuk memahami keterkaitan antara keamanan, produktivitas, dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

“Terjaganya keamanan lingkungan menjadi pondasi bagi masyarakat untuk berproduksi, berinovasi, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan dalam konteks ketahanan pangan nasional,” jelasnya.

Dua mahasiswa FISIP UNNES, Muaren Anastasia Gardini dan Kharina Khukma Fadhila, mengikuti kegiatan ini dengan antusias. Mereka menilai forum internasional yang dihadiri lembaga global seperti Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) memberikan wawasan luas mengenai pentingnya kemitraan lintas negara dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang aman dan berdaya.

Dosen FISIP UNNES, Rudi Salam, menambahkan bahwa kegiatan tersebut merupakan bagian dari program kemitraan internasional antara Polri, JICA, dan Ikatan Sakura Indonesia (ISI).

“Sinergi antara pemerintah, akademisi, dan masyarakat sipil sangat penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman, produktif, dan tangguh terhadap potensi gangguan sosial maupun ekonomi,” ujarnya.

Partisipasi mahasiswa FISIP UNNES dalam seminar ini sejalan dengan komitmen universitas untuk mendukung SDGs poin 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas) dan SDGs poin 16 (Perdamaian, Keadilan, dan Kelembagaan yang Tangguh). Melalui kegiatan akademik dan kolaborasi internasional, UNNES terus berupaya menumbuhkan generasi muda yang berwawasan global dan berperan aktif dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan.
