CILACAP – Dalam upaya mewujudkan target Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Tujuan 4, yakni memastikan pendidikan yang inklusif, merata, dan mendorong kesempatan belajar seumur hidup bagi semua, Kementerian Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah sukses menggelar Peringatan Hari Aksara Internasional (HAI) Tingkat Nasional ke-60 Tahun 2026.

Acara puncak yang diselenggarakan di Soedirman Plaza (Lapangan Eks. Batalyon Cilacap), Kabupaten Cilacap, Jawa Tengah, ini berlangsung selama tiga hari, mulai dari Rabu hingga Jumat, 23–25 September 2026. Mengusung tema “Literasi untuk Sesama, Semesta, dan Sejahtera”, perayaan tahun ini menegaskan pentingnya literasi sebagai pilar utama dalam menghapus ketimpangan pendidikan di Indonesia.

Direktur Pendidikan Nonformal dan Pendidikan Informal (PNFI), Gusti Made Ardana, beserta jajaran Direktorat Jenderal, termasuk Dirjen Tatang, menekankan bahwa pendidikan nonformal memiliki peran vital dalam merangkul kelompok masyarakat yang belum terjangkau pendidikan formal. Hal ini selaras dengan mandat SDGs 4 yang menuntut tidak boleh ada satu pun warga negara yang tertinggal dalam mendapatkan hak pendidikan dasar dan literasi.

Komitmen terhadap pendidikan yang inklusif ini tercermin kuat dalam rangkaian sesi Talkshow Literasi yang menghadirkan narasumber-narasumber hebat. Pada sesi yang digelar Jumat (25/9), Prof. E. Aminudin Aziz, M.A., Ph.D., membawakan materi bertajuk “Literasi Sesama: Mengikat Keberagaman yang Inklusif Melalui Kekuatan Aksara”.

Selanjutnya, guna membekali masyarakat dengan keterampilan yang relevan dengan perkembangan zaman (Target SDGs 4.4), akademisi dari Universitas Negeri Semarang, Dr. Decky Avrilianda, M.Pd., turut memberikan wawasan mendalam. Beliau memaparkan topik krusial mengenai “Literasi Digital dan Kemanusiaan Bidang Pendidikan Non Formal”.

Tidak hanya sebatas diskusi, upaya nyata dalam memperluas akses pendidikan berkelanjutan juga diwujudkan melalui berbagai kegiatan komprehensif selama acara, di antaranya:

  1. Keterlibatan pegiat pendidikan anak usia dini melalui kegiatan HIMPAUDI untuk memperkuat pondasi belajar sejak dini.
  2. Penyelenggaraan Diskusi Anak Tidak Sekolah (ATS) bersama Dinas terkait dan PKBM (Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat) guna mencari solusi mengembalikan anak-anak putus sekolah kembali ke jalur pendidikan.
  3. Aktivasi dan apresiasi terhadap Forum Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) yang menjadi ujung tombak literasi di akar rumput.
  4. Kunjungan ke puluhan stand pameran LKP (Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan) serta HIPKI yang menampilkan karya-karya nyata dari pendidikan vokasi dan nonformal.

Melalui peringatan HAI ke-60 ini, pemerintah berharap sinergi antara literasi lingkungan, digital, dan kemanusiaan dapat terus ditingkatkan. Langkah ini diyakini akan mempercepat transformasi masyarakat Indonesia yang melek aksara, berdaya saing global, dan sejahtera, sejalan dengan visi besar Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) 2030.
