Program Studi Psikologi Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) turut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan Kuliah Tamu bertajuk Best Practices dalam Pengelolaan Game-Based Assessment yang diselenggarakan oleh PT PLN (Persero) pada Sabtu, 6 Juni 2026. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom dan diikuti oleh mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia.

Kuliah tamu ini diselenggarakan dalam rangka mendukung pengembangan wawasan akademik mahasiswa terkait praktik dan perkembangan terkini asesmen psikologis di dunia profesional. Melalui kegiatan tersebut, mahasiswa memperoleh pemahaman mengenai implementasi asesmen modern berbasis teknologi, khususnya Game-Based Assessment, yang kini semakin banyak digunakan dalam proses seleksi, pemetaan potensi, dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia di berbagai institusi.

Kegiatan menghadirkan narasumber, Rinekso W. Laban, selaku Manager Pengembangan Materi dan Pengolahan Data Unit Pelaksana Assessment Center PT PLN (Persero). Dalam pemaparannya, beliau menjelaskan berbagai praktik terbaik (best practices) dalam pengelolaan Game-Based Assessment

Selain mahasiswa Prodi Psikologi UNNES, kegiatan ini juga diikuti oleh mahasiswa dari Universitas Gadjah Mada, UIN Walisongo Semarang, dan Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin. Kehadiran peserta lintas perguruan tinggi menjadikan kegiatan berlangsung secara interaktif dan memperkaya diskusi mengenai tantangan serta peluang pengembangan asesmen psikologi di era digital.

Salah satu peserta dari Prodi Psikologi UNNES, Siti Syarah, menyampaikan kesan positifnya terhadap kegiatan tersebut. “Game-Based Assessment-nya seru dan tidak terasa seperti sedang tes, lebih seperti bermain game biasa. Pengoperasian aplikasinya juga mudah dipahami. Meskipun sempat ada kendala teknis di awal, masalahnya cukup mudah diperbaiki,” ujarnya.

Kesan serupa juga disampaikan oleh Hellena Mutiara. “Berbagai tantangan seperti puzzle, pemecahan masalah, pencarian petunjuk, hingga kuis interaktif membuat saya tetap fokus dan antusias selama proses asesmen berlangsung. Desain permainan yang menyerupai petualangan membuat asesmen terasa seperti bermain game dibandingkan mengerjakan tes,” tuturnya.

Peserta lainnya, Katarina Clara, juga mengungkapkan antusiasmenya terhadap asesmen berbasis permainan tersebut. “Pengalaman menggunakan Game-Based Assessment menurut saya sangat menarik karena proses asesmen dikemas dengan grafis seperti bermain game. Bahkan proses loading-nya cepat. Selama asesmen berlangsung saya menikmati prosesnya karena ada misi-misi yang harus dilakukan,” ungkapnya.

Partisipasi dalam kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memperluas wawasan mahasiswa mengenai penerapan ilmu psikologi, khususnya dalam bidang pengukuran dan asesmen psikologi industri dan organisasi. Selain itu, mahasiswa juga memperoleh pengalaman langsung dalam memahami perkembangan inovasi asesmen psikologis yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja saat ini. (ANH)
