Wuhan, China – 30 Oktober 2024, dalam rangka memperkuat kolaborasi internasional dan mendukung perkembangan inovasi pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) melaksanakan kegiatan Visiting Researcher dan Guest Lecture di Central China Normal University (CCNU), Wuhan, China, pada tanggal 30 Oktober 2024. Acara ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian bersama antara UNNES dan CCNU dalam pengembangan cybercounseling mobile application system yang bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi pencapaian akademik dan tujuan pribadi mahasiswa.

Visiting Researcher ini diketua oleh Farid Ahmadi, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D. dan Yuli Kurniawati, S.Psi., M.A., D.Sc., yang keduanya memiliki pengalaman luas dalam pengembangan teknologi pembelajaran dan psikologi pendidikan. Sementara itu, tim riset dari CCNU terdiri dari Prof. Jianzhong Janne Hong dan Prof. Weijun Wang, dua pakar dari School of Psychology, CCNU, yang berperan penting dalam memberikan panduan teoretis dan praktis terkait aspek psikologis dalam aplikasi cybercounseling untuk mahasiswa dan cybercounseling untuk anak usia dini yang menghadapi masa pengenalan lingkungan sekolah (MPLS).

Pada kegiatan tersebut, kedua tim peneliti membahas pengembangan cybercounseling yang dikembangkan. Pada penelitian yang diketuai Farid Ahmadi, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D., aplikasi yang dikembangkan dengan nama MotipUNNES yang dirancang untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam pencapaian akademik dan pengembangan diri melalui pendekatan Solution-Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC). Aplikasi ini memiliki fitur-fitur seperti registrasi, kuesioner, rekomendasi video, serta platform diskusi untuk mendukung para mahasiswa dalam mencapai target akademik dan pribadi mereka. Sementara penelitian Yuli Kurniawati, SP S.Psi., M.A., D.Sc., memaparkan terkait pengembangan bahan bacaan yang dapat menganalisis ekspresi anak usia dini, didukung dengan buku cerita berbasis audiovisual.

Farid Ahmadi dan Yuli Kurniawati dalam presentasinya memaparkan manfaat aplikasi ini yang diharapkan dapat diterapkan di berbagai institusi pendidikan. Sementara itu, Prof. Jianzhong Janne Hong dan Prof. Weijun Wang turut memberikan perspektif psikologis tentang pengembangan aplikasi berbasis mobile ini, yang relevan dalam konteks pendidikan di era digital. Kolaborasi ini diharapkan mampu mempererat hubungan akademik antara UNNES dan CCNU serta memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan teknologi pembelajaran dan layanan konseling berbasis digital untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara global.
