Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) kembali menunjukkan komitmennya dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era Revolusi Industri 5.0. Kali ini, UNNES berkolaborasi dengan University of Hamburg, Jerman, dalam sebuah riset perbandingan sistem pendidikan tinggi kedua negara. Fokus penelitian ini adalah Sistem Ganda yang diterapkan di Jerman dan program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang diimplementasikan di Indonesia.

“Kami ingin merumuskan sebuah model kurikulum yang tidak hanya responsif terhadap perkembangan teknologi, tetapi juga berakar pada nilai-nilai luhur budaya Indonesia,” ungkap Dr. Yuli Utanto, S.Pd., M.Si., Koordinator Prodi Teknologi Pendidikan UNNES dan ketua tim peneliti.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan cetak biru pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia yang adaptif terhadap kebutuhan Era Revolusi Industri 5.0. Dr. Yuli Utanto memimpin tim peneliti dari UNNES yang berkolaborasi dengan Prof. Dr. Jens Siemon dari University of Hamburg. Tim UNNES juga diperkuat oleh Tri Hutami Wardoyo, M.Ed., Edi Subkhan, S.Pd., M.Pd., Indra Simanungkalit M.Pd., serta mahasiswa UNNES, Anisa Candra Cahyani, Nimas Putri Ayuningtyas, dan Viona Santika.

Sistem Ganda vs MBKM: Mencari Model Ideal

Riset ini akan mengkaji secara mendalam Sistem Ganda di Jerman yang dikenal efektif menjembatani dunia pendidikan dan dunia kerja. Melalui sistem ini, mahasiswa memperoleh pengalaman praktis melalui pemagangan di industri, selain pembelajaran teori di kelas.

Di sisi lain, MBKM di Indonesia menawarkan fleksibilitas bagi mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan kompetensi di luar program studi melalui magang, proyek independen, pertukaran pelajar, dan berbagai kegiatan lainnya.

Kearifan Lokal sebagai Fondasi

Yang menarik, penelitian ini tidak hanya membandingkan kedua sistem, tetapi juga mengupayakan integrasi prinsip-prinsip konservasi dan kearifan lokal ke dalam pengembangan kurikulum. Hal ini dianggap krusial mengingat Era Revolusi Industri 5.0 menuntut lulusan yang tidak hanya kompeten di bidang teknologi, tetapi juga memiliki kepekaan sosial dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan.

“Lulusan perguruan tinggi harus mampu menghadapi tantangan global, termasuk perubahan iklim dan degradasi lingkungan. Integrasi prinsip-prinsip konservasi dalam kurikulum menjadi sangat penting,” ungkap Tri Hutami Wardoyo, M.Ed., anggota tim peneliti.

Publikasi dan Diseminasi

Hasil penelitian ini rencananya akan dipublikasikan di jurnal internasional bereputasi dan didiseminasikan melalui berbagai forum ilmiah, baik nasional maupun internasional. Kolaborasi riset antara UNNES dan University of Hamburg ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi peningkatan kualitas pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia dan menghasilkan sistem pendidikan yang lebih adaptif, inovatif, dan berkelanjutan.
