FIPP UNNES and UIA Jakarta Establish Academic Cooperation and Visiting Lectures

Semarang, September 25, 2025 — The Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) of Semarang State University (UNNES) has established an academic collaboration with the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of As-Syafi’iyah Islamic University (UIA) Jakarta. This collaboration was marked by the signing of an academic agreement and the implementation of a *visiting lecture* program on Thursday, September 25, 2025. This activity is a step to strengthen institutional relations and open up opportunities for collaboration in the field of education.

The signing of the collaboration is an important momentum for both institutions to build synergy in the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which includes education, research, and community service. Through this collaboration, both faculties have the opportunity to develop joint academic activities, expand knowledge exchange, and improve the quality of higher education implementation.

The *visiting lecture* program is also part of an effort to enrich the learning experience through the exchange of academic insights and perspectives. This activity is expected to open up space for sharing experiences between lecturers and academics of both institutions, while encouraging the development of learning methods and improving educator competencies.

This collaboration supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, by strengthening academic collaboration and improving the quality of learning in higher education. Furthermore, this activity is relevant to SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Resilient Institutions, particularly in building effective institutions through partnerships, communication, and good cooperative governance.

Through the signing of academic cooperation agreements and the visiting lecture program, FIPP UNNES continues to expand its partnership network with other universities. This collaboration is expected to be followed up through various concrete programs that provide benefits for institutional development, improving the competence of the academic community, and advancing education in Indonesia.
