The UNNES BK Alumni Gathering Strengthens Ties and Strengthens Collaboration for the Future

Semarang, August 12, 2025 — The Guidance and Counseling (BK) Study Program at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, and the Counselor Professional Education (PPK), held a Grand Alumni Gathering with the theme “Knitting Memories, Planning the Future .” This event served as a momentum to strengthen ties between alumni, lecturers, and the BK family while strengthening alumni contributions to the development of education and guidance and counseling services.

The event began with remarks from the Dean of FIPP UNNES, Prof. Dr. Edy Purwanto, M.Sc., and the Chair of the UNNES BK Alumni Association (IKA), Dra. Ardina Safitri Firli. The series of activities included the screening of a flashback video, alumni testimonials, a farewell ceremony for retired lecturers, and an inspirational sharing session from representatives of the BK Study Program functionaries. The activity also included the election of the Chair of IKA BK UNNES for the 2025–2030 period as part of an effort to strengthen the sustainability of the alumni organization.

This Grand Alumni Gathering supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education , by strengthening alumni networks as partners in educational development and improving the quality of guidance and counseling services. This activity is also in line with SDG 17: Partnerships for Achieving the Goals , by building sustainable collaboration between alumni, lecturers, and study programs to support academic progress and the guidance and counseling profession.
