FIK UNNES Sukses Selenggarakan ISPHE 2020 Secara Daring

Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) sukses menyelenggarakan seminar internasional. Kegiatan yang bertajuk  5th International Seminar on Public Health and Education (ISPHE) ini diselenggarakan secara daring melalui aplikasi Zoom dan ditayangkan langsung melalui kanal Youtube FIK UNNES pada Rabu (22/7).

Dengan mengusung tema “Strengthening Disease Prevention through Health Education and Physical Activity for Sustainable and Equitable health Development”, webinar ini dihadiri oleh 300 partisipan dari 9 negara dan 135 di antaranya merupakan presenter oral dan poster.

Webinar ini secara resmi dibuka oleh Plt. Wakil Rektor Bidang Perencanaan dan Kerjasama UNNES, Dr Hendi Pratama MA.

Dalam sambutannya, Dr Hendi menjelaskan, UNNES sangat mengapresiasi dan mendukung penuh penyelenggaraan ISPHE 2020 yang sudah memasuki jilid ke-5 ini.

“Penyakit tidak menular menjadi penyebab kematian dini tertinggi di dunia dan di Indonesia, harapannya ISPHE 2020 ini mampu memberikan wawasan keilmuan dan praktik baru yang terkini bagi kalangan akademisi, praktisi, dan seluruh peserta seminar,” ujar Dr Hendi Pratama.

Webinar dibagi menjadi 3 bagian, yaitu keynote speech, plenary session, dan parallel session. Sesi keynote disampaikan oleh Kepala Badan Kebijakan Fiskal Kementerian Keuangan RI Febrio Nathan Kacaribu PhD yang membawakan topik “Opportunities and Challenges of Health Investment from Disease Prevention Aspect for Economic Development in Indonesia”.

Berikutnya masih dalam sesi keynote speech, disampaikan oleh Prof Hao-Jan Yang dari Chung Shan Medical University Taiwan dengan topik “The Role of Health Education in Improving Quality of Lifedan Prof Syed Mohamed Aljunid MD MScPH PhD dari Kuwait University Kuwait dengan topik “Strengthening Health Care System of Developing Countries through Research and Development in Health Economics and Financing”.

Selanjutnya, para invited speakers yang diundang pada sesi I plenary adalah Prof Michael Yong Hwa Chia PhD dari National Institute of Education (NIE) Singapore yang membawakan topik “School-based Interventions to Physical Activity, Exercise, Positive Physical Education, and Sport Experiencesdan Assoc Prof Syed Abdul Shabbir PhD dari Taipei Medical University Taiwan dengan topik “The Use of Health Technology to Improve Health Literacy in the Community: Opportunities and Challenges”. Sesi ini dimoderatori oleh Mohammad Arif Ali MSc dari Jurusan IKOR.

Pada sesi II plenary, para invited speakers yang menyampaikan materinya adalah Prof Dr dr Oktia Woro Kasmini Handayani MKes dari Universitas Negeri Semarang Indonesia dengan topik Beating Non communicable Disease in the Community through Social Engineering: From Research to Local Action in Indonesiadan Assoc Prof Niruwan Turbull PhD dari Mahasarakham University Thailand dengan topik Health Education as an Effort to Enhance Community Participation in Environmental Diseases Prevention”. Sesi ini dimoderatori oleh Lukman Fauzi MPH dari Jurusan IKM.

Pada sesi paralel, sebanyak 135 presenter melakukan presentasi oral dan poster yang dibagi ke dalam 10 ruangan (breakout rooms ZOOM) berdasarkan topik Health Education, Physical Activity, dan Applied Technologies for Health dengan satu moderator ditiap kelas.

Ketua Panitia ISPHE 2020,  dr RR Sri Ratna Rahayu PhD menyampaikan, artikel yang masuk ke dewan reviewer ISPHE telah diseleksi sesuai dengan pilihan publikasi, yaitu jurnal terindeks Scopus, prosiding EAI terindeks Scopus, jurnal terindeks Sinta 1 dan 2, atau prosiding ber-ISBN.

Health education dan physical activity merupakan pilar penting bagi seluruh masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan penyakit untuk mencapai pembangunan kesehatan yang adil dan berkelanjutan. Masyarakat yang sehat akan berkontribusi dalam produktivitas kerja, mengurangi biaya perawatan kesehatan, dan memperpanjang usia harapan hidup,”  ujar dr Sri Ratna Rahayu.
