The Faculty of Law, Semarang State University held the VI National Conference on Civil Procedure Law. This activity is a form of collaboration between the Faculty of Law, Semarang State University and ADHAPER (Association of Civil Procedure Law Lecturers).
This National Conference activity was attended by participants from various campuses throughout Indonesia. The conference will be held from September 12 to September 14 2023 and will take place at the Grasia Hotel, Semarang.
In the activities of the VI National Conference on Civil Procedure Law, the theme was “The Inevitability of the Immediate Promulgation of the Civil Procedure Law Bill in Order to Face the Challenges of Law Enforcement in the Era of Increasing Globalization”. This activity began with remarks from the Chair of Adhaper, then remarks from the Dean of FH UNNES, then opened by the UNNES Chancellor represented by Deputy Chancellor 1 for academic and student affairs.
This conference itself was initiated by the Keynote Speaker and included several speakers. The Keynote Speaker who sparked this National Conference included the Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights who is currently represented by Djoko Pudjiraharjo, S.H., M.Hum as Expert Counselor for the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
Apart from that, other speakers present raised various related topics according to their expertise. The speakers present included the Director General of Legislation and Regulations of the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Prof. Dr. Efa Laela Fakhriah S.H., M.H., Prof. Dr. Benny Riyanto, S.H., M.Hum., CN, Prof. Dr. Herowati Poesoko SH, MH, Prof. Dr. Tata Wijayanta SH., M.Hum., Prof. Dr. Basuki Rekso Wibowo SH., M.S., Prof. Dr. M.Khoidin S.H., M.H, Prof. Dr. H. M. Saleh, S.H., M.H., Prof. Dr. Rachmad Budiono S.H. M.H., Prof. Dr. Yaswirman S.H., M.H., and Prof. Djamaludin, S.H., M.H.
This National Conference activity was held in the context of socializing the ratification of the Civil Procedure Law Bill. It is hoped that this activity can contribute ideas and formulate concrete steps in the context of providing recommendations regarding the development of Civil Procedure Law.
As well as, improve and develop the academic atmosphere through periodic scientific meetings on up-to-date and up-to-date scientific developments.
Apart from all that, it is hoped that this conference can become a forum for brainstorming ideas from all civil procedural law activists in making a contribution to accelerating the promulgation of the Civil Procedure Law Bill so that Indonesia has a formal civil law that is national in nature. Hopefully this activity can have a positive impact on academics, practitioners, participants, and of course society at large.
