Fakultas Hukum (FH) Universitas Negeri Semarang menyelenggarakan Webinar International Conference On Indonesian Legal Studies (ICILS) 2020 secara virtual melalui aplikasi Zoom dan disiarkan langsung melalui Chanal Youtube FH UNNES, Rabu, (1/7) Pagi.

Webinar ini mengangkat Tema Law and Globalization: The Emergence of Global Regulatory Governance and Its Impacts on Indonesian Legal Development dengan pembicara Dr Rodiyah SPd SH M.Si Dekan FH UNNES INDONESIA, Dr Nicky Jones School of Law and Justice University of Southern Queensland AUSTRALIA, Dr Iqra Anugrah M Sc MA Center for Southeast Asian Studies Kyoto University JAPAN, Dr Haji Ahmad Zaharuddin Sani Ahmad Sabri Universiti Utara Malaysia MALAYSIA, Prof Dr Thomas Schmitz Faculty of Law, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen JERMAN.

Plt Wakil Rektor Bidang Perencanaan dan Kerjasama UNNES Dr Hendi Pratama SPd MA menyampaikan, terima kasih dan penghargaan kepada narasumber dan peserta Webinar. UNNES merupakan Universitas Berwawasan Konservasi dan Bereputasi Internasional.

Beliau menambahkan, UNNES sebagai Perguruan Tinggi Negeri memiliki target Research University pada tahun 2020-2024 sebagai Universitas Inovasi Riset yang menjadikan SDM Unggul, Invensi Riset yang menjadikan LPTK Penggerak Inovasi, Alih Teknologi LPTK yang menjadikan Pusat Universitas Unggulan, Hilirisasi & Bisnis Riset menjadi LPTK Pusat Rujukan dan Science Techno Park (STP) bermuara LPTK Mendunia.

Dr Haji Ahmad Zaharuddin Sani Ahmad Sabri pakar hukum dari University Utara Malaysia, menjelaskan, pakar hukum bisa merubah dunia, terutama di tengah pandemi Covid-19.

Menurut Dr Haji Ahmad Zaharuddin, Untuk merubah keadaan pakar hukum bisa berperan untuk membahas regulasi dengan visi membangkitan keterpurakan di tengah pandemi Covid-19 menjadi tantang bersama.

“Beri masukan dan bantu pemerintah lewat regulasi yang efektif, serta transpran. Hal itu untuk membuka pasar dan membangkitkan perekonomian. Mengobati keadaan lewat regulasi yang tepat menjadi tantangan bersama, tak terkecuali pakar hukum. Yang dibutuhkan adalah gerakan bersama,” terangnya.

Sementara itu Dr Nicky Jones, pakar hukum dari University Southern Queensland Australia, menuturkan, pembahasan regulasi untuk merubah kondisi di tengah pandemi Covid-19 sangat penting.

“Pemerintah harus dibantu menentukan kebijakan lewat sejumlah regulasi, pemulihan global juga harus menjadi fokus bersama. Untuk merubah kondisi lewat regulasi, bisa dimulai lewat komunitas-komunitas atau organisasi pakar hukum tingkat lokal,” imbuhnya.

Dr Nicky menambahkan, kepekaan terhadap keadaan yang tidak menentu wajib dipahami pakar hukum.

“Ini saatnya pakar hukum bersatu untuk merubah keadaan global, karena
Komunitas pakar hukum punya tanggung jawab memulihakan keadaan di tengah pandemi Covid-19,” tambahnya.
