FH UNNES Gelar Kuliah Umum, Hadirkan Ketua Mahkamah Agung RI

Fakultas Hukum Universitas Negeri Semarang (FH UNNES) mengadakan kuliah umum dengan mengusung tema “Pelayanan Prima Mahkamah Agung Melalui Digitalisasi Peradilan”, Selasa (22/11).

Kegiatan yang berlangsung di lantai 3 ruang GSG Dekanat FH ini menghadrikan pembicara utama Ketua Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia Prof Dr H M Syarifuddin SH MH.

Rektor UNNES Prof Dr S Martono MSi mengatakan, kuliah umum ini merupakan kesempatan yang luar biasa bagi mahasiswa dalam memberikan pemahaman yang jernih tentang hukum di Indonesia terutama digitalisasi peradilan.

“Terima kasih kami ucapkan kepada Yang Mulia Ketua MA Prof Dr H M Syarifuddin SH MH atas kehadiranya di UNNES, semoga kuliah umum ini akan memberikan manfaat untuk bekal kita ke depan sebagai insan peradilan yang benar-benar nyata,” kata Prof Martono.

Dalam kesempatan ini, Ketua MA Prof Syarifuddin menyampaikan proses digitalisasi di Mahkamah Agung berkaitan dengan teknis penanganan perkara menyangkut pelayanan hukum kepada para pencari keadilan.

“Ini merupakan salah satu agenda penting dalam reformasi peradilan yakni transformasi teknologi di bidang penyelenggaraan tugas-tugas peradilan. Mahkamah Agung juga telah menerbitkan beberapa regulasi payung dalam rangka membangun sistem peradilan elektronik sebagai implementasi dari amanat Cetak Biru Pembaruan Peradilan 2010- 2035,” kata Ketua MA.

Selain itu, Ketua MA Prof Syarifuddin juga menjelaskan bagaimana perjalanan proses transformasi Mahkamah Agung dari sistem peradilan konvensional menuju ke sistem peradilan elektronik.

“Ini merupakan terobosan yang dilakukan Mahkama Agung mengingat perkembangan teknologi yang semakin cepat dan tuntutan serta kebutuhan masyarakat, khususnya para pencari keadilan untuk dapat menjalani proses berperkara secara lebih sederhana, cepat dan murah”, kata Ketua MA.

Tak hanya itu, Mahkamah Agung juga meluncurkan aplikasi E-Court yang memberikan kemudahan untuk mendaftarkan perkaranya, cukup menggunakan HP atau komputer yang terhubung dengan jaringan internet.

Hadirnya sistem peradilan elektronik (e-Court) ditujukan dapat mengurangi keluhan utama masyarakat atas pelayanan peradilan, seperti prosesnya yang rumit, waktu yang diperlukan sangat lama, dan biayanya mahal.

“Ini juga menutup peluang untuk terjadinya penyimpangan oleh aparatur peradilan,” Prof Syarifuddin.

Prof Syarifuddin menambahkan, digitalisasi peradilan yang dilakukan MA untuk memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik bagi masyarakat dan para pencari keadilan. Semakin cepat, mudah, dan murah proses peradilan dapat dijalankan, maka akan semakin terbuka akses keadilan bagi para pihak yang berperkara, pungkasnya.
