FBS UNNES Tingkatkan Kapasitas Kehumasan Lembaga Mahasiswa

Puluhan mahasiswa pengurus Lembaga Kemahasiswaan di lingkungan Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) mengikuti pelatihan kehumasan yang digelar pada Jumat (7/2/2025) di Dekanat FBS UNNES. Pelatihan ini menjadi bagian dari rangkaian pembekalan dan pelantikan fungsionaris organisasi mahasiswa FBS UNNES tahun akademik 2025/2026.

Kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk implementasi SDGs poin 17, membekali mahasiswa dengan keterampilan komunikasi publik, manajemen media, dan strategi branding yang penting dalam menjalin hubungan dengan berbagai pihak, baik internal maupun eksternal kampus. Melalui pelatihan ini, lembaga kemahasiswaan dapat membangun jejaring yang lebih luas, meningkatkan profesionalisme, serta menciptakan kolaborasi yang berdampak dalam mendukung tujuan-tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Hadir sebagai narasumber, Dr Dhoni Zustiyantoro, dosen Program Studi Sastra Jawa sekaligus Ketua Humas FBS UNNES. Hadir pula pendamping kemahasiswaan, Diyamon Prasanda SPd MPd.

Dalam paparannya, Dhoni menekankan pentingnya strategi kehumasan dalam membangun citra positif lembaga kemahasiswaan. Di era media sosial saat ini, kehumasan tidak hanya sekadar menyampaikan informasi, tetapi juga menjadi sarana membangun portofolio dan “etalase” digital bagi organisasi maupun individu.

“Mahasiswa sebagai bagian dari lembaga kemahasiswaan perlu memahami bahwa kehumasan bukan sekadar publikasi, tetapi juga strategi komunikasi yang berkelanjutan. Di era digital, siapa pun bisa menjadi representasi organisasi melalui unggahan mereka,” ujar Dhoni.

Strategi kehumasan yang efektif, menurutnya, harus memperhatikan tiga aspek utama, yakni konsistensi desain, konsistensi unggahan, dan konsistensi mutu. Konsistensi dalam desain mencakup penggunaan identitas visual yang seragam, sedangkan konsistensi unggahan berarti rutin mempublikasikan konten yang relevan dan informatif. Adapun konsistensi mutu memastikan bahwa setiap informasi yang dibagikan memiliki kredibilitas dan memberikan manfaat bagi audiens.

Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan baru bagi mahasiswa dalam mengelola kehumasan lembaga kemahasiswaan secara lebih profesional dan strategis. Dengan pemanfaatan media sosial yang tepat, organisasi mahasiswa dapat memperkuat eksistensi serta meningkatkan partisipasi dan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam berbagai kegiatan akademik maupun non-akademik.
