FBS Launching Ruang Pamer

Mahasiswa jurusan Seni Rupa Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menggelar pemeran seni lukis yang bertajuk “Paper on Paper” di gedung Dekanat dan Gasebo Senin (20/6). Pameran diikuti 19 mahasiswa seni rupa dibuka Pembantu Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan Dewa Made Karthadinata MPd berlangsung selama 25 hari yakni tanggal 20 Juni sampai 15 Juli 2011.

“Hasil karya kreasi mahasiswa diantaranya Rabot dari Kardus bekas karya Fajar Ariyanto, Bagus Wahyu MS memanfaatkan  bungkus rokok di buat seketsa wajah tokoh atau pahlawan dilukis dengan menggunakan kopi, Koran bekas untuk membungkus sepeda yang mempunyai nilai kritik, dibuat topeng dan sebagainya” kata Aryo Sunaryo sesepuh dosen seni rupa FBS.

“Kegiatan ini didasari keprihatinan potensi sumber daya alam khususnya hutan yang dijadikan sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan kertas  semakin menipis,  mahasiswa mencoba mengkritisi persoalan tersebut berkaitan dengan masalah lingkungan. Paper on paper ini diangkat menjadi simbul mereka disamping bersinggungan dengan alam juga sebagai wahana untuk mengkritisi persoalan-persoalan sosial yang sekaranag ini sedang terjadi” kata Purwanto dosen pembimbing pameran.

Paper on paper diwacanankan menjadi empat persoalan yakni paper sebagai simbul yang ber hubungan dengan  kebudayaan sosial;  kertas untuk menulis namun kali ini dimanfaatkat sebagai bahan kerajianan atau sebagai nilai kraf; kertas sebagai ungkap media ekpresi; dan kertas sebagai simbul untuk  membungkus karena  mempunyai nilai  estetis, artistik, katanya.

Studio Pamer

Selain pameran lukisan juga diresmikannya Ruang Pamer Studio Seni Rupa di gedung B5 lantai 1 berukuran 10 x 12 meter. Pameran perdana tunggal oleh Purwanto dosen Seni Rupa dengan memajang 30 hasil karya seni lukis cat air dengan tema “Tapak Kaki Saat Berbagi”.

“Karya lukisan yang saya pamerkan ini dalam proses berbagai ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan dengan mahasiswa pada matakuliah seni lukis 1 dari waktu ke waktu. Lahirnya karya ini pada saat proses kami memposisikan pada level kesetaraan dengan mahasiswa, dengan harapan dapat memotivasi kerja kreatif mereka sekaligus menjadi referensi pada latihan berlangsung” kata Purwanto.

Dia mengatakan melukis adalah sebuah proses berpikir untuk menghasilkan karya seni rupa dua dimensional yang merefleksikan kecerdasan estetis yang bersifat personal, melalui ungkapan garis, warna dan tektur.
