Evi Widowati: Dibutuhkan Semua Pihak untuk Akhiri Kekerasan Perempuan dan Anak

langkah untuk mengakhiri kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak serta mengakhiri kesenjangan akses ekonomi terhadap perempuan ini membutuhkan sinergi yang positif dari semua pihak mulai dari keluarga, masyarakat hingga komitmen dari pimpinan daerah yang dimanifestasikan dalam kebijakan-kebijakan yang mendukung.

Kepala Pusat Studi Gender dan Anak (PSGA) Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Evi Widowati SKM MKes mengkonklusikan itu kepada unnes.ac.id saat menjadi moderator peringatan hari ibu ke – 88 tingkat Provinsi Jawa Tengah Tahun 2016 pada Acara Dialog Interaktif Puncak Peringatan Hari Ibu ke – 88.

Kegiatan dengan tema Akhiri Kekerasan terhadap Perempuan dan Anak dan Kesenjangan Akses Ekonomi terhadap Perempuan dibuka oleh Wakil Gubernur Jawa Tengah Bapak Drs H Heru Sudjatmoko MSi diikuti 500 orang tamu undangan dari Provinsi maupun Kabupaten/Kota, Selasa (20/12) di Pendopo Kabupaten Jawa Tengah.

Hadir sebagai narasumber Bupati Kabupaten Semarang dr H Mundjirin ES SpOG, Drs H Heru Sudjatmoko MSi diwakili oleh Kepala Badan Pemberdayaan Perempuan Perlindungan Anak dan Keluarga Berencana (BP3AKB) Provinsi Jawa Tengah Dra Sri Kusuma Astuti MSi, dan Dalang Perempuan dari Kabupaten Semarang Nyi Wiwik Sabdo Laras.

Evi Widowati juga mengemukakan, namun disisi lain secara hakiki perlu diketahui bersama bahwa peningkatan kapasitas diri perempuan itu sendiri juga menjadi hal yang sangat strategis untuk memberdayakan dirinya dalam mengambil peran untuk memajukan kehidupan bangsa.

Dimana hal tersebut bisa dimulai menjadi seorang istri yang bijak sekaligus menjadi seorang ibu yang cerdas dalam mendidik anak-anaknya. Karena anak adalah calon pemimpin bangsa dimasa yang akan datang.

Evi menambahkan, tema ini senada dengan program unggulan Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (KPPA) Three Ends yakni End Violence Against Women and Children (Akhiri Kekerasan terhadap Perempuan dan Anak), End Human Trafficking (Akhiri Perdagangan Manusia), dan End Barriers To Economic Justice (Akhiri Kesenjangan Ekonomi terhadap Perempuan).

Kemudian, filosofi “He for She” yang artinya bahwa laki-laki akan mendukung perempuan untuk maju bersama setara dengan mereka dalam mengambil peran dalam segala bidang.
