Evaluasi Konservasi dengan Ilmu Pengetahuan

Kebijakan green transportation di kampus Unnes Sekaran telah mengubah “cara hidup” seluruh warga kampus. Dari sliwar-sliwer dengan kendaraan, warga kampus dibiasakan jalan kaki atau bersepeda. Sebagai cara membiasakan diri, cara ini diakui baik. Agar tujuan baik ini tercapai perlu dilakukan sejumlah evaluasi.

Harapan ini mengemuka dalam sarasehan Rektor Unnes bersama seluruh tenaga pendidikan dan tenaga kependidikan Fakultas Teknik (FT) Unnes, Jumat (5/7) siang tadi. Harapan ini mencuat karena warga FT banyak yang membawa perlengkapan saat kuliah dan ujian. Jika harus jalan kaki dari GSG ke gedung E, diakui beberapa dosen, cukup melelahkan.

“Pernah suatu ketika, penyidik kejaksaan Tinggi Jawa Tengah membawa contoh aspal ke tempat kami untuk dilakukan uji laboratorium, tapi kami kesulitan karena dilarang masuk. Kami berharap SOP yang ada di Unnes bisa diperjelas, termasuk SOP tentang portal,” kata Sucipto MT Ketua Jurusan Teknik Sipil FT Unnes sambil menambahkan bawah FT selama ini telah menjadi mitra Kejati jawa tengah dalam penyidikan kasus tentang konstruksi.

Menaggapi usulan itu, Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman akan melakukan evaluasi berdasarkan kajian kelimuan. Kata profesor sosiolingistik ini, Unnes adalah lembaga keilmuan sehingga harus menjadikan ilmu pengetahuan dalam merumsukan dan mengevaluasi program.

“Kami akan kaji ulang. Kajian harus dilakukan lebih dulu supaya menghasilkan kebijakan yang baik,” katanya.

Selain itu, beberapa peserta juga mempertanyakan program baru yang diusung Prof Fathur. Sebagai nakhoda baru Universitas Konservasi mereka ingin mengetahui program baru untuk mengakselerasi capaian Unnes sebagai Universitas Konservasi.

Menanggapi hal itu, Prof Fathur menyampaikan akan mengakselerasi kinerja baik yang telah dicapai pimpinan sebelumnya. Profesor sosiolinguistik ini mengaku berbagai prestasi telah dicapai Universitas Konservasi di bawah pimpinan Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo. Sebagai penerus ia berkewajiban mempertahankan sekaligus meningkatkan kinerja yang telah dicapai.

“Capaian yang sudah baik itu kita tingkatkan demi terwujudnya universitas konservasi yang sehat, unggul, dan sejahtera. Unnes juga harus semakin prima dalam melayani mahasiwa,” katanya.
