Lulusan PPG SM3T UNNES Agen Pembenahan Pendidikan Indonesia

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) melaksanakan Yudisium dan Penyerahan Sertifikat Pendidik Pendidikan Profesi Guru Sarjana Mendidik di daerah Terdepan, Terluar, Tertinggal (PPG SM3T) angkatan 4 dan Pendidikan Profesi Guru Terintregasi (PPGT) angkatan 2 di UTC Kelud Semarang (31/1). Dari total 265 Peserta Ujian Tulis Nasional PPG SM3T UNNES, peserta yang lulus 237 orang dan yang belum lulus ada 28 orang.

Pada acara ini, lulusan terbaik peringkat I adalah Dwi Irawan dari program studi Pendidikan Goegrafi dengan nilai 100, dan peringkat II Irfan Fathurrohman program studi Geografi dengan nilai 96,67. Pada kesempatan yang sama, peserta PPGT yang lulus 23 orang dan yang belum lulus 10 orang.

Ketua Lembaga Pendidikan dan Profesi (LP3) UNNES Dr Abdurrahman melaporkan, peserta PPG SM3T merupakan peserta PPG yang berasal dari peserta SM3T yang telah mengabdi selama satu tahun di daerah 3T, kemudian mengikuti PPG di UNNES selama satu tahun. Di sisi lain, peserta PPGT menempuh S1 PGSD selama 4 tahun, kemudian dilanjutkan PPG.

Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Prof Rustono saat memberi pengarahan menyampaikan, dunia pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini perlu dibenahi.Kekurangan tersebut bisa dibenahi dengan cara meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM). Dengan terpenuhinya kualitas SDM diharapkan dunia pendidikan di Indonesia akan lebih bagus. Untuk itu, Kemenristekdikti menetapkan nilai kelulusan PLPG minimal 80. Saat ini nilai rata-rata ujian kompetensi guru (UKG) di Indonesia adalah 53. Jadi banyak yang harus ditingkatkan supaya dunia pendidikan bisa bagus.

Prof Rustono berpesan pada peserta yang belum lulus agar tidak berkecil hati karena masih diberi kesempatan untuk mengikuti ujian tulis nasional selama 2 tahun pada Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Kependidikan (LPTK) terdekat dengan tempat tinggal masing-masing.  Peserta PPG SM3T UNNES kali ini berasal dari Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, Jawa Barat, Yogyakarta, DKI, NTB, Aceh, Bali, Riau, Lampung, dan Sumatera Barat. Sedangkan daerah asal PPGT dari Aceh, Kalimantan, Kepri, NTT, dan Papua.
