Dukung Pertumbuhan UMKM, Tim Pengabdian UNNES Fasilitasi Pengembangan

Tim Pengabdian Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) kembali memberikan dukungan kepada Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Giriwetan, Kecamatan Grabag, Kabupaten Magelang pada Kamis (30/6).

Pada pengabdian kali ini, tim pengabdian yang terdiri dari Drs Suwahyo MPd, Drs Sunyoto MSi, Andri Setiyawan SPd MPd, Ayub Budhi Anggoro SPd MPd, dan Deni Fajar Fitriyana ST MT ini berfokus pada upaya pengembangan usaha aneka sabun cair antara lain sabun cuci piring, detergen cair, pembersih lantai, dan lain sebagainya.

Ketua Tim Pengabdian Drs Suwahyo MPd menjelaskan, pengabdian kali ini berupaya untuk mendukung pertumbuhan UMKM di Magelang melalui pemberian alat dan perlengkapan.

“Saya dan tim pengabdian mendukung pengembangan UMKM Sabun Cair. Adapun peralatan yang telah skami siapkan ialah Automatic Liquid Filling Machine (Mesin pengisi cairan otomatis), Continuous Band Sealer Type Vertical (Mesin pengemas kontinyu type vertikal), Motor listrik/Dinamo ½ HP, dan Peralatan pendukung lain,” ungkap Dosen Teknik Mesin UNNES tersebut.

Anggota tim pengabdian sekaligus Kepala Pusat Desiminasi Teknologi dan Kekayaan Intelektual LPPM UNNES, Drs Sunyoto MSi menyampaikan UNNES berkomitmen dalam mendukung pengembangan UMKM di Indonesia.

“Harapannya dengan peralatan ini, Bapak sebagai penerima mampu merwatnya dengan baik. Peralatan ini tentu akan menghemat waktu produksi dan menghasilkan takaran yang pas dan proporsional,” ungkap Drs Sunyoto MSi.

Khabibulloh selaku penerima bantuan fasilitasi tersebut mengaku sangat terbantu oleh kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat UNNES.

“Jujur saja, biasanya kami bisa memproduksi hingga 2.000 liter tiap bulannya, namun sekarang ini hanya 500 liter tiap bulan. Kami terkena dampak covid-19, sehingga harga bahan baku dan biaya kemasan juga menjadi naik, untung pun menjadi lebih sedikit” ungkapnya.

Saya, imbuhnya, berterima kasih kepada Pak Nyoto, Pak Wahyo, dan Tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat UNNES. Semoga ini mampu semakin mendorong pertumbuhan UMKM khususnya di Magelang.

Selain bantuan peralatan produksi, Tim Pengabdian juga akan mendampingi pengurusan izin edar Perbekalan Kesehatan Rumah Tangga (PKRT) yang hingga saat ini masih menjadi kendala bagi sebagian besar UMKM. Dengan adanya izin edar PKRT diharapkan pemasaran produk menjadi lebih luas dan mampu menjangkau ke pasar modern.
