Dukung Implementasi Program Kampus Merdeka, UNNES Terima 271 Mahasiswa Program PERMATA-SAKTI

Dukung implementasi program Kampus Merdeka, Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum menerima 271 mahasiswa program PERMATA-SAKTI Kemendikbud secara virtual pada Kamis (17/9). 271 mahasiswa tersebut berasal dari 25 Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) di Indonesia yang tergabung dalam Program Pertukaran Mahasiswa Tanah Air Nusantara Sistem Alih Kredit dengan Teknologi Informasi (PERMATA-SAKTI) Tahun 2021.

Prof Fathur menyambut baik kedatangan mahasiswa program PERMATA-SAKTI tersebut. Dalam sambutannya, Profesor Sosiolinguistik itu menyampaikan selamat datang dan selamat beproses di kampus UNNES.

“Selamat datang di kampus konservasi, terima kasih telah memilih UNNES menjadi tempat untuk menimba ilmu melalui program PERMATA-SAKTI ini. Terima kasih juga, saya sampaikan kepada Mas Menteri Nadiem Makarim dan Direktur Penjaminan Mutu Ditjen Pembelajaran dan Kemahasiswaan Prof Aris Junaedi yang telah memberikan kepercayaan kepada UNNES,” jelas Prof Fathur.

UNNES, imbuhnya, terus berkomitmen untuk mendukung implementasi program Kampus Merdeka khususnya hak untuk belajar di luar program studi dan perguruan tinggi, salah satunya melalui program PERMATA-SAKTI ini.

Dalam laporannya, Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Prof Dr Zaenuri Mastur SE MSi Akt menjelaskan, UNNES menerima 271 mahasiswa PERMATA-SAKTI Inbound yang berasal dari berbagai kampus di Indonesia.

“Untuk tahun ini, UNNES menerima mahasiswa PERMATA-SAKTI Inbound dari berbagai universitas dan institut, ada yang dari ISI Pasang Panjang, Universitas Halu Oleo, Universitas Hasanuddin, Universitas Lampung, Unmul, UNG, UNJ, UNM, Unimed, UNP, UPI, Untirta, dan lain sebagainya,” papar Prof Zaenuri.

Menurut Guru Besar Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA) UNNES itu, program ini didesain sebagai bagian dari upaya dalam penambahan ataupun penguatan kompetensi dan wawasan mahasiswa serta penguatan toleransi, cinta tanah air dan budaya yang diperoleh dari pertukaran mahasiswa melalui kerja sama antar perguruan tinggi di Indonesia.

Dalam kegiatan yang diselenggarakan secara virual ini, hadir Direktur Penjaminan Mutu Ditjen Pembelajaran dan Kemahasiswaan Prof Aris Junaedi.

“Program PERMATA-SAKTI ini merupakan program yang luar biasa, terutama jika dihubungkan dengan kebijakan Kemendikbud khususnya Kampus Merdeka,” ungkap Prof Aris.

Turut hadir mewakili ke-25 Perguruan Tinggi peserta PERMATA-SAKTI, Wakil Rektor Bidang Perencanaan dan Hubungan Masyarakat Universitas Mulawarman (Unmul) Dr Ir Bohari Yusuf MSi yang menyampaikan terima kasih atas kesediaan UNNES menerima mahasiswa peserta Program PERMATA-SAKTI.

“Terima kasih telah menerima mahasiswa kami dari 25 Perguruan Tinggi. Mohon bantuan kepada Bapak Rektor dan UNNES untuk mendidik mahasiswa kami agar mampu menimba ilmu dengan baik di UNNES,” jelas Dr Buhori.
