Dukung Implementasi Merdeka Belajar, Jurusan Sejarah UNNES Bekali Guru-guru MGMP Kabupaten Boyolali

Dukung  implementasi program Merdeka Belajar, Jurusan Sejarah Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES)Workshop Asesmen bagi para guru Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Sejarah Kabupaten Boyolali pada Kamis (11/08) bertempat di SMAN 3 Boyolali.

Acara workshop ini merupakan bagian dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Universitas Negeri Semarang. Tim pengabdian diketuai oleh Dr Suwito Eko Pramono MPd dan beranggotkan Syaiful Amin SPd MPd serta melibatkan beberapa mahasiswa Jurusan Sejarah  UNNES.

Acara ini dihadiri hampir semua guru sejarah yang tergabung dalam MGMP Sejarah Kabupaten Boyolali. Dalam sambutannya, Ketua MGMP Sejarah Kabupaten Boyolali, Sodiq, mengapresiasi kegiatan yang mampu menarik animo para guru sejarah.

Menurutnya, untuk pertama kalinya, hampir semua guru MGMP Sejarah Boyolali hadir dalam sebuah agenda akademis semacam ini.

Dalam Workshop materi yang dibawakan ialah mengenai Asesmen dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka.

Dr Suwito Eko Pramono MPd dan tim pengabdi membuka materi ini dengan mengapresiasi keberanian sekolah yang mau belajar dan mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka.

Selanjutnya, Dr Suwito menjelaskan urgensi dari asesmen dalam kurikulum merdeka yang harus berorietasi pada kebutuhan murid. Ia menambahkan bahwa asesmen esensinya dibuat bukan untuk menjustifikasi intelektual siswa, namun menjadi sarana evaluasi guru dalam memperbaiki iklim belajar yang ada. Asesmen harus dilakukan secara holistik dan bukan bagian dari instrumen untuk menilai siswa.

Dalam kegiatan ini juga diisi dengan diskusi interaktif antara para guru dan juga pemateri. Para guru cukup antusias dan aktif dalam memberikan pertanyaan terkait dengan materi yang dipaparkan narasumber. Pertanyaan seputar asesmen masih mendominasi, mengingat disekolah mereka implementasi kurikulum ini baru saja berjalan.

Terakhir, tim pengabdian juga mengapresiasi sekolah-sekolah berikut para guru mengembangkan kompetensinya sebagai tuntutan kewajiban dalam kurikulum yang baru. Tim pengabdian ini juga memberikan pesan bahwa jika belum memahami struktur besar dari kurikulum ini, silahkan berdiskusi dengan kolega, termasuk dengan para dosen Jurusan Sejarah Universitas Negeri Semarang yang memahami persoalan demikian.

Diskusi dan workshop kemudian ditutup dengan rencana kerja sama antara Jurusan Sejarah Universitas Negeri Semarang dengan Guru-guru MGMP Kabupaten Boyolali.
