Dukung Guru Penggerak Pendidikan Anti Korupsi, Tim Pengabdian UNNES Berikan Penyuluhan

Tim Pengabdian Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) berikan penyuluhan kepada 34 Guru MA/SMK di Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Al Asror, Gunungpati, Kota Semarang pada Sabtu (16/7).

Ketua Tim Pengabdian Dr Eko Handoyo MSi menjelaskan, saat ini CPI atau Corruption Perceptions Index Indonesia tahun 2021 mendapatkan skor 38 dari 100 dan menempati peringkat 96 dari 180 negara.

“Korupsi dipandang sebagai kejahatan luar biasa (extra ordinary crime) yang oleh karena itu memerlukan upaya luar biasa pula untuk memberantasnya. Upaya pemberantasan korupsi – yang terdiri dari dua bagian besar, yaitu penindakan dan pencegahan,” ungkap Dr Eko.

Tentu, imbuhnya, upaya-upaya ini tidak akan pernah berhasil optimal jika hanya dilakukan oleh pemerintah saja tanpa melibatkan peran serta masyarakat, termasuk para pendidik. Oleh karena itu, tidaklah berlebihan jika guru sebagai salah satu bagian penting dari masyarakat yang merupakan pendidik generasi muda diharapkan dapat terlibat aktif dalam upaya pemberantasan korupsi di Indonesia.

Keterlibatan guru dalam upaya pemberantasan korupsi tentu tidak pada upaya penindakan yang merupakan kewenangan institusi penegak hukum. Peran aktif guru diharapkan lebih difokuskan pada upaya pencegahan korupsi dengan ikut membangun budaya antikorupsi di masyarakat, terutama di sekolah.

Guru diharapkan dapat berperan sebagai agen perubahan dan motor penggerak gerakan antikorupsi di sekolah. Untuk dapat berperan aktif, guru perlu dibekali dengan pengetahuan yang cukup tentang seluk beluk korupsi dan pemberantasannya. Yang tidak kalah penting, untuk dapat berperan aktif, guru harus dapat memahami dan menerapkan nilai-nilai antikorupsi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

“Banyak artis bahkan pejabat di negeri kita yang masih muda-muda malahan korupsi. Korupsinya mulai dari hal-hal kecil yang dianggap sebagai suatu perilaku yang telah biasa, seperti datang terlambat (korupsi waktu), sampai ada juga yang korupsi uang milyaran rupiah” ungkap Dr Eko.

UNNES sebagai kampus berwawasan konservasi,  mendukung penuh upaya pemberantasan korupsi di Indonesia. UNNES senantiasa mengedepankan delapan nilai konservasi dalam setiap pelaksanaan kegiatan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, termasuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat.
