Dukung Gerakan #SatuLangkahNyata, UNNES dan Bakti Lingkungan Djarum Foundation Tanam 3.500 Bibit Pohon

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) bersama Bakti Lingkungan Djarum Foundation menggelar aksi nyata untuk mendukung gerakan pelestarian lingkungan dengan menanam 3.500 bibit pohon pada Sabtu dan Minggu (25-26/11) di area Gunung Ledek, Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya bersama untuk menghadirkan perubahan nyata dalam menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan.

Rektor UNNES, Prof. Dr. S Martono, M.Si. menyampaikan pentingnya peran setiap individu dalam melestarikan lingkungan.

“Melalui gerakan #SatuLangkahNyata, kami ingin mengajak semua pihak untuk berkontribusi dalam menjaga keberlanjutan alam. Kegiatan menanam ini bukan hanya sekadar simbol, tetapi juga tindakan nyata yang dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan,” ujar Guru Besar Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis itu.

Pada kerjasama ini, Bakti Lingkungan Djarum Foundation memberikan dukungan dalam bentuk sarana penanaman dan bibit pohon. Turut hadir Vice President Director Djarum Foundation, FX Supanji yang menekankan pentingnya menumbuhkan rasa cinta dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan.

“Kami sangat senang dapat berkolaborasi dengan UNNES dalam kegiatan lingkungan ini. Pohon yang ditanam diharapkan tidak hanya menjadi peneduh, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap keberlanjutan ekosistem, khususnya di Kota Semarang, dan bisa menumbuhkan kepedulian serta kesadaran mahasiswa akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan,” ujar anggota Majelis Wali Amanat (MWA) UNNES itu.

Program penanaman bibit pohon ini melibatkan 3.500 mahasiswa baru UNNES, serta tim dari Bakti Lingkungan Djarum Foundation. 3.500 mahasiswa tersebut berasal dari sembilan fakultas, yakni 408 Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Psikologi (FIPP), 494 Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS), 359 Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP), 448 Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA), 498 Fakultas Teknik (FT), 227 Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK), 576 Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis (FEB), 284 Fakultas Hukum (FH), dan 206 Fakultas Kedokteran (FK).

Bibit yang ditanam terdiri dari Alpukat Aligator, Alpukat Kendil, Alpukat Cipedak, Mangga Arummanis, Mangga Manalagi, Mangga Kiojay, Durian Kromo Banyumas, Durian Musangking Hortimart, Durian Otong, Petai, dan Rambutan Rapiah.

Selain menanam, program ini juga mencakup kegiatan edukasi lingkungan bagi mahasiswa. Mahasiswa UNNES terlibat dalam penyuluhan dan workshop tentang pentingnya menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan hidup dan mengurangi jejak karbon. Mahasiswa diberikan pemahaman tentang cara sederhana, namun efektif untuk berkontribusi dalam upaya pelestarian lingkungan sehari-hari.

Gerakan #SatuLangkahNyata diharapkan dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi institusi lainnya untuk ikut serta dalam menjaga kelestarian alam. UNNES dan Bakti Lingkungan Djarum Foundation berkomitmen untuk terus mengembangkan kegiatan-kegiatan lingkungan yang dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam mewujudkan lingkungan yang bersih, hijau, dan berkelanjutan.
