Dubes RI di Paris: Terima Kasih Unnes

Tim Muhibah Seni Unnes 2012 diterima Duta Besar Indonesia di Paris, Rezlan Ishar Jenie di ruang kerja Kedutaan Rue Cortambert 49 Distrik 16 Paris, Minggu (15/7).

Dari Paris, M Syaefudin yang menjadi pemandu melaporkan, rombongan yang dipimpin Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman dan Suko Hardjono sebagai  reviewer Ditjen Dikti Kemdikbud disambut Atase Pendidikan Akhlus Syafsir.

Dalam sambutannya, Duta Besar mengucapkan terima kasih atas keikutsertaan Unnes dalam Festival Brest 2012. Dubes menyatakan tim kesenian Unnes menyumbangkan karya seni Indonesia dalam kegiatan dwitahunan itu kepada khalayak internasional. Bertempat di tepi Samodera Atlantik, Indonesia mendapat kehormatan sebagai satu dari lima negara utama penampil pada festival  itu.

Prof Fathur atas nama Rektor mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Kedutaan Besar. “Keikutertaan muhibah seni  dalam Festival Internasional di Brest memberikan motivasi dalam mewujudkan visi konservasi, terutama konservasi budaya. Selain untuk memperkenalkan budaya Indonesia dan internasional, kegiatan ini juga untuk mengembangkan kerja sama lembaga,” katanya.

Dikemukakan pula, Unnes memiliki rekam jejak kiprah seni di tingkat nasional dan internasional. Tahun 2010, misalnya, tim muhibah seni universitas ini menggelar pekan festival budaya Indonesia dan workshop gamelan di beberapa universitas di Taipei.

Kerja Sama
Dalam kesempatan itu juga dibicarakan rancangan kerja sama dalam bidang pendidikan tinggi dan pengembangan kebudayaan Indonesia di Perancis.

Di bidang pendidikan, Perancis memiliki keunggulan dalam bidang pendidikan dengan standar mutu tinggi yang menjadi rujukan di Eropa.

“Memiliki ijazah dari lembaga tinggi Perancis berarti memiliki akses kuat dengan dunia Eropa dan frankofon,” tutur Dubes.

Keuntungan ini, lanjut dia,  masih ditambah dengan fasilitas subsidi yang tinggi dari pemerintah untuk perguruan mahasiswa. “Saya tidak mengatakan pendidikan di Perancis murah. Tetap mahal, namun dibayarkan oleh warga mereka.”

Itulah mengapa KBRI bekerja sama dengan Ditjen Dikti mendorong agar program pendidikan di Perancis mendapat perhatian. Kendala mungkin akan menghambat, namun di Indonesia banyak terdapat pusat bahasa Perancis.

Adapun pada bidang seni, pengembangan kerja sama dengan lembaga seni yang setara dengan universitas akan terus didorong. “Warga Perancis mengagumi budaya Indonesia. Jadi, ini perlu ditangkap sebagai peluang dalam pengembangan kebudayaan antardua negara,” tambah Duta Besar.

Sebagai informasi, Unnes  menggandeng Cité de la musique, Paris sebagai pusat budaya yang juga mengajarkan gamelan untuk bekerja sama bidang seni.
