Dua Tahun Pendidikan, 294 Calon Guru Profesional Diwisuda

Ada yang beda dengan wisuda Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) periode I, Rabu (26/2) pagi tadi. Selain meluluskan diploma dan sarjana, untuk pertama kalinya Unnes juga meluluskan 294 calon guru profesional begelar Gr.

Para calon guru profesional tersebut lulus setelah mengikuti Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) selama 2 tahun. Dari 294 wisudawan PPG, 286 adalah peserta program Sarjana Mendidik di Daerah terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal (SM3T) dan 8 wisudawan melalui PPG Terintegrasi SMK profuktif.

Selain wisduawan program PPG, Rektor Unnes Prof Fathur Rokhman MHum juga mewisuda  1.158 mahasiswa lainnya. Adapun rinciannya adalah 9 doktor, 130 magister, 1002 sarjana dan 17 diploma.

Kepada para wisudawan program PPG, Rektor punya pesan khusus. “Anda adalah generasi baru guru Indonesia. Anda hadir dan duduk di tempat ini setelah memalui proses seleksi ketat dan komprehensif. Maka, tetaplah menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai keguruan. Saatnya bagi Anda untuk berkarya lebih nyata,” katanya.

Rektor juga memberikan apresiasi kepada wisudawan terbaik. Sejumlah wisudawan menunjukkan capaian yang membanggakan pada periode ini. Sirajul Munir yang menempu studi pada Program Doktor di PPs mendapatkan IPK 3,97, Elysa Hartati pada Program Magister (4,00), Lailia Nuryani dari Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (89,20), Shofiayuningtyas Lutfiani Yusuf dari Program Sarjana (3,93), dan Ekky Andrean Fernadien dari Program Diploma (3,41). “Unnes bangga dan bersyukur dengan capaian yang sangat baik ini,” kata Profesor Sosiolinguistik itu.

Menanggapi hal itu, mahasiswa terbaik dari Program PPG Lailia Nuryani SPd Gr merasa bangga, karena secara profesi diakui sebagai guru yang profesional. Di sisi lain gelar Gr ini menjadi amanah yang cukup berat, “Lulusan PPG harus benar-benar bertanggung jawab untuki berperan dalam mencerdaskan Indonesia,” kata mahasiswa peraih nilai 89,20 itu.
