Dua Profesor Unnes Presentasi di Seminar LPTK Internasional

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) mendapatkan kesempatan khusus untuk presentasi pada Seminar Internasional “The 3rd Assian Roudtable of Presidents of Universities of Education” (ARPUE 2013), 6 – 8 November 2013 di Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Malaysia.

Dalam ARPUE yang dihadiri 16 institusi di Asia dari 8 negara dengan peserta 36 orang itu, Unnes diwakili dua profesor, Prof Dr Maman Rachman MSc dan Prof Dr Muhammad Jazuli MHum. Keduanya mempresentasikan paper “The Conservation of National Heritage Value System: Its Implementation and Implication in Semarang State University”.

Kepada unnes.ac.id,, Kepala Internasional Office Hendi Pratama menuturkan, tujuan utama ARPUE memperkuat jaringan perguruan tinggi pencetak guru di Asia. “Tema yang diusung ARPUE ketiga ‘Empowering Change in Education,” kata Hendy.

Hendi Pratama juga mengatakan, pembicara utama seminar dan roundtable discussion, Prof Datuk Dr Shamsul Amri Baharuddin dari National Council of Professors Malaysia dan Prof Dr Lee Sing Kong dari National Institute of Education Singapura.

Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman berpesan kepada kedua profesor tersebut untuk menyebarluaskan visi misi Unnes terutama di bidang konservasi dan internasionalisasi. “Sebelumnya, Unnes telah berpartisipasi di sejumlah seminar yang berbasis asosiasi perguruan tinggi internasional seperti KPTIP, Usintec, CAPEU dan ASAIHL,” ujarnya.

    Prof. Maman kemarin hanya mengajar sebebentar di kelas untuk makul English for Civic education. tapi tak apalah karena ada tugas yang lebih mulia yaitu memperkenalkan kampus konservasi ke ranah internasional. terimakasih guru ku, jasa mu ku kenang selalu 🙂
