Dua Profesor Baru UNNES Paparkan Bidang Keilmuan

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum mengukuhkan dua profesor baru, yaitu Prof Dr Noor Aini Habibah SSi MSi menjadi guru besar dalam bidang Ilmu Jaringan Tumbuhan pada Fakultas Matematika Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA) dan Prof Dr Drs Nasuka MKes menjadi guru besar dalam bidang Ilmu Kepelatihan Bola Voli pada Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK) UNNES.

Dalam orasi ilmiah nya Prof Dr Noor Aini Habibah SSi MSi memaparkan “Produksi Metabolit Sekunder dengan Teknik Kultur Jaringan Tumbuhan: Penelitian dan Prospeknya di Industri”.

Prof Dr Noor Aini Habibah menjelaskan Indonesia mempunyai keanekaragaman hayati sangat tinggi sehingga mempunyai potensi untuk menghasilkan berbagai macam senyawa bioaktif dari tumbuh.

Prof Dr Noor Aini mengatakan pertumbuhan penduduk yang semakin tinggi dan berkurangnya lahan pertanian memerlukan terobosan dalam proses produksi senyawa bioaktif.

Untuk itu, Prof Dr Noor Aini menekankan perlu dikembangkan penerapan kultur jaringan sehingga produksi metabolit sekunder akan menjadi lebih optimal dan dapat diatur produksinya dan tidak terkendala lahan.

Selain itu, Prof Dr Noor Aini mengatakan pengembangan produksi metabolit sekunder melalui tekniuk kultur jaringan tumbuhan di Indonesia dapat mendorng kemandirian bahan baku senyawa bioaktif bagi industri kosmetik, suplemen makanan, dan obat-obatan dengan proses yang hemat lahan dan terkontrol.

Prof Dr Nasuka MKes memaparkan orasi ilmiah dengan judul “Startegi Kemampuan dan Kepelatihan Bola Voli”.

Prof Dr Nasuka menjelaskan permainan bola voli memadukan tiga unsur penting dalam olahraga yaitu teknik, taktik, dan strategi permainan.

Tetapi modal teknik saja tidaklah cukup, menurut Prof Dr Nasuka bola voli merupakan permainan tim. Diperlukan strategi agar setiap anggota tim berkontribusi secara proporsional untuk mencapai kemenangan yang diidamkan.

“Permainan bola voli mengajarkan bahwa kekompakan dan harmoni tim sangatlah penting. Tim yang kompak dan bermental juara harus memiliki kesadaran tentang kompetensi dan peran yang diembannya dan para pemain harus memiliki kepercayaan atau trust terhadap pelatih sehingga strateginya dapat dijalankan dengan baik,” ucapnya.

Selain itu, Prof Nasuka menjelaskan nilai-nilai yang terdapat dalam olahraga voli merupakan pelajaran berharga yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan profesional dan sosial. Oleh karena itu, bola voli merupakan sarana yang sangat efektif mendidik diri dan generasi muda secara fisik dan mental sehingga menjadi pribadi yang berkarakter dan berprestasi tinggi.
