Dua Mahasiswa Manajemen UNNES Hadiri Business Show Singapore

Dua mahasiswa program studi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Asna Salsabila & Hanina Humaira berkesempatan menghadiri acara The Business Show Asia di Singapura pada tanggal 28-29 Agustus 2024.

The Business Show Asia merupakan sebuah wadah penting bagi pengembangan bisnis dan inovasi di kawasan Asia. Dalam kesempatan ini juga Asna dan Hanina berhasil memanfaatkan platform ini untuk mengenalkan solusi inovatifnya kepada publik dengan melakukan soft launching platform inovatif yang mereka kembangkan, yaitu CAREER UPGRADE (instagram: @cu.career).

CAREER UPGRADE, yang fokus pada pengoptimalan potensi karir individu dan organisasi, menghadirkan solusi terintegrasi berupa pelatihan keterampilan lunak (soft skills) dan keterampilan teknis (hard skills) bagi pemula dan profesional, platform pencarian kerja yang ramah bagi pencari kerja dengan kebutuhan khusus (disabilitas), serta layanan pengembangan ekosistem karir.

Platform ini juga menyediakan layanan pembuatan dan review CV serta portofolio, dengan tujuan membantu para profesional mempersiapkan diri lebih baik dalam menghadapi persaingan dunia kerja yang semakin ketat.

Adapun pengembangan prototipe ini mendapatkan dukungan penuh dari Prodi Manajemen FEB UNNES di bawah supervisi Dr. Vitradesie Noekent, SE, MM dan Siti Ridloah, SE, M.Mgt.

Dalam acara ini, beberapa tokoh industri ternama seperti Mr. Rohan Dhanuka (Industry Head at Google) dan Mr. Vineet Agarwal (CEO of Validus Capital) turut hadir dan berbagi pandangan mengenai pentingnya pengembangan karir di era digital. Acara ini juga membuka peluang kolaborasi antara CAREER UPGRADE dengan berbagai pihak untuk memperluas akses sumber daya karir yang optimal.

CAREER UPGRADE mengakhiri acara dengan melakukan pitch kepada calon mitra dengan harapan dapat membangun kolaborasi masa depan untuk mendukung pengembangan sumber daya karir secara optimal. Mahasiswa FEB UNNES yang hadir juga diharapkan dapat membawa pulang pengetahuan baru dan kesempatan jaringan yang luas untuk diterapkan dalam lingkungan akademik.

Kehadiran dua mahasiswa Manajemen FEB UNNES dalam acara tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan inspirasi serta pengetahuan baru yang bisa diterapkan untuk pengembangan karir mereka sendiri maupun bagi komunitas kampus.
