Pak Broto, Pensiun Kepala Biro Milih Jadi “Sopir”

Karena suatu kebijakan, Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) harus  melepas putra terbaiknya. Dari seluruh pengabdiannya yang panjang, Unnes tidak akan mampu melukis dan mengimbangi semua jasa yang telah diberikan. Hanya ucapan terima kasih tak terhingga, karena selama mengabdi di Unnes bisa menjalankannya dengan baik.

Demikian kata-kata Rektor Unnes Prof  Sudijono Sastroatmodjo MSi saat menyampaikan sambutan pada pelepasan purnatugas Drs Subroto, Senin (1/8), di ruang rapat rektor.

Rektor juga mengungkapkan, Pak Broto –demikian Drs Subroto akran dipanggil– selama menjalan tugas di Unnes, lebih-lebih saat menjabat Kepala Biro Administrasi Umum dan Kepegawaian (Kepala BAUK), mampu menjalankan tugas dengan baik. “Selalu memberikan dukungan yang positif untuk Unnes,” katanya seraya berharap Pak Broto bergabung dalam wadah Ikatan Purnatugas Unnes.

Lantas, apa kata Pembantu Rektor Bidang Administrasi Umum Drs Wahyono MM tentang Pak Broto? “Pak Broto adalah sosok yang sangat loyal pada teman-teman sebayanya dan selalu ngemong pada bawahan. Segala permasalahan di unit kerja dapat diselesaikn dengan baik,” katanya.

Apa pula kata Pak Broto? “Saya merasa belum bisa berbuat banyak untuk Unnes. Selama 32 tahun mengabdi, hanya  ucapan terima kasih sajalah yang bisa saya sampaikan. Di Unnes, saya merasakannya sebagai rumah pertama, sedangkan rumah adalah rumah  kedua saya.  Sekarang saya punya tugas baru, menjadi sopir pribadi untuk istri tercinta,” katanya yang segera saja disambut tawa mereka yang hadir.

Selamat memasuki tugas baru sebagai “sopir” istri tercinta, Pak Broto.
