Dr Mohd Shukri Universiti Selangor Beri Kuliah Umum di FT Unnes

Dr Ir Mohd Shukri bin Yob PEng MIEM BEM Dean of resource, Senior lecturer division Mechanical Faculty of Engineering Universiti Selangor (Unisel) Malaysia memberi kuliah umum di Jurusan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Semarang (FT Unnes), Kamis (31/3) di FT kampus Sekaran Gunungpati.

Kuliah umum dengan tema “Public Lecture at Mechanical Engineering Department Semarang State University” ini diikuti dengan antusias oleh para mahasiswa jurusan Teknik Mesin dan dosen. Sebab, dapat memberi gambaran nyata pada mahasiswa mengenai tantangan pengajar di dunia global dan regional terkait Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA) yang akan segera dihadapi mahasiswa setelah lulus nanti.

Dr Shukri juga membekali mahasiswa dengan Vehicle Design Process, dimulai dari desain hingga proses pemasaran. Hal tersebut memotivasi mahasiswa untuk berpikir kreatif dalam bidang produksi kendaraan.

Setelah kuliah umum, dilanjutkan diskusi antara Dr Shukri dengan para dosen Jurusan Teknik Mesin dengan tema “Resources Optimization for Excellent Services”. Dalam hal ini Dr Shukri mendiskusikan cara mengelola sumber daya yang dimiliki jurusan dan mengoptimalkan sumber daya dari luar (kerja sama industri) agar segera terwujud pelayanan optimal kepada mahasiswa.

    keren sekali.. fakultas teknik secara aktif melakukan kerjasama dengan universitas luar negeri. Harapannya kerjasama seperti ini juga menular ke fakultas fakultas lain. Termasuk di fakultas saya FBS.

  2. Kuliah umum seperti ini memberikan manfaat bagi pengembangan wawasan mahasiswa mengenai masalah global apalagi sekarang adalah era MEA. Pengetahuan yang luas akan memudahkan mahasiswa untuk menghadapi persaingan global baik di masa sekarang maupun mendatang.
