Dr Edy Purwanto Terpilih Jadi Dekan FIP UNNES Periode 2023-2027

Dr Edy Purwanto MSi terpilih sebagai Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Semarang (FIP UNNES) periode Tahun 2023-2027. Hal tersebut berdasarkan hasil pemungutan suara pemilihan Dekan FIP UNNES, Rabu (9/10), bertempat di Ruang Pertemuan Dekanat FIP.

Kegiatan Pemilihan Dekan FIP dihadiri seluruh senator Fakultas yang berjumlah 16 orang perwakilan dari setiap jurusan.

Dr Edy Purwanto berhasil memperoleh 13 suara dan mengungguli suara kandidat lainnya yakni Farid Ahmadi SKom MKom PhD memperoleh 1 suara dan Dr Sungkowo Edy Mulyono SPd MSi memperoleh 11 suara.

“Senat FIP UNNES sendiri berjumlah 16 orang terdiri dari wakil prodi yang ada di fakultas. Selain itu, Rektor UNNES juga memiliki suara sebanyak 35% dalam pemilihan Dekan kali ini, setelah proses pemilihan terpilih Dr Edy Purwanto MSi,” kata Ketua panitia Pemilihan Dekan FIP UNNES periode 2023-2027 Sony Zulfikasari.

Sony juga menyampaikan bahwa pemilihan dekan periode 2023-2027 ini dilaksanakan sesuai amanat Peraturan Rektor yang berlaku.

“Penetapan calon Dekan telah melalui berbagai proses, mulai dari seleksi hingga perumusan visi dan misi dilanjutkan dengan penetapan yang dilakukan pada sidang Senat,” kata Sony.

Hadir Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Prof Dr Zaenuri SE MSi Akt yang mewakili Rektor UNNES Prof Dr S Martono MSi.

Dalam sambutannya, Prof Zaenuri menyampaikan selamat kepada dekan Dr Edy Purwanto yang telah terpilih secara demokratis menjadi Dekan FIP periode 2023-2027.

Pada kesempatan itu, Prof Zaenuri memberikan arahan kepada Dekan terpilih untuk bersiap menghadapi tantangan PTN-BH sehingga FIP Siap Menjadi Pelopor Kecemerlangan Pendidikan Berwawasan Konservasi.

Dalam visi misi kepemimpinannya, Dr Edy Purwanto mencanangkan penguatan kapasitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dan Tata kelola untuk mewujudkan kecemerlangan Fakultas, Strategi membangun kecemerlangan dosen, mahasiswa serta Good Governance hasilkan akreditasi Unggul pada Prodi di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan.
