Dosen Unggul, Mengajar Atas Riset

Dosen yang unggul adalah dosen yang bukan hanya pandai mengajar saja. Dosen yang seperti itu bukan dosen konservasi. Dosen konservasi adalah dosen yang mengajarnya berdasarkan asas keilmuan bukan atas insting, dan bukan atas informasi-informasi yang disusun.

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Prof Fathur Rokhman mengatakan itu saat membuka Workshop Buku Panduan Implementasi kurikulum Unnes 2012 berbasis kompetensi dan konservasi, Jumat (30/8) di rektorat kampus Sekaran.

Prof Fathur Rokhman juga mengemukakan, dosen yang pandai yakni dosen yang mengajarnya atas riset, kemudian ketika mengajar juga berdasarkan riset. Selain itu, dalam melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat juga berdasarkan hasil riset.

“Ini merupakan budaya keilmuan dan budaya konservasi yang harus kita lakukan bersama untuk mewujudkan universitas konservasi bertaraf internasional,” kata Prof Fathur. Kegiatan diikuti puluhan ketua jurusan di lingkungan Unnes.

Dia, juga mengatakan, dosen yang pandai mengajar di Unnes ini adalah dosen yang kinerja mengajarnya berdasarkan buku panduan konservasi kurikulum Unnes 2012 berbasis kompetensi dan konservasi.

Spirit konservasi dilaksanakan dengan asas saling menghormati, kebersamaan, guyub, dan tidak menjadikan kita terkotak-kotak. Jadi spirit konservasi harus kita tanamkan didalam mengentaskan kurikulum berbasis konservasi ini.

Berbagai universitas di luar negari mengapa bisa sukses? Tanya Prof Fathur kepada peserta. Karena universitas itu mempunyai 3 hal yakni talenta, risorsis, dan reputasi.

Tiga hal itu sangat penting dalam pelaksanaan buku panduan kurikulum Unnes 2012 ini yang melengkapi buku sebelumnya yakni buku 1, buku 2, dan buku 3, tegas Prof Fathur.

    Dan portalnya dibongkar saja Prof. Karena secara geografis menyulitkan pengguna jalan. Asap mobil tetap berkisar di sekitar sekaran dan diserap oleh tanaman kita.

    Setuju dengan himbauan pak rektor bahwa segalanya sebaiknya dilakukan berdasarkan riset, tidak hanya dalam hal mengajar, konservasi juga harus berdasarkan riset, tidak atas dasar insting, kepuasan pribadi atau bahkan demi nama besar.

    Setuju sekali. Dosen ketika mengajar berbasiskan riset. Persoalannya penelitian untuk dosen yang menggunakan alokasi dana DIPA dulu disosialisasikan oleh LP2M, tetapi kenapa tidak ada kelanjutannya. Apakah penelitian teman-teman dosen diterima atau tidak?
