Dosen UNNES Kolaborasi Riset dengan University of Cambridge  dan Jadi Dosen Tamu di Austria

Pengakuan internasional terhadap dosen Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) semakin menjulang. Salah satunya dibuktikan dengan kiprah dosen Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA), Dr.rer.nat. Adi Nur Cahyono, M.Pd.

Sebagai peneliti ia akan melakukan riset kolaborasi dengan salah satu universitas terbaik di dunia, University of Cambridge, Inggris. Selain itu, selama dua bulan ia mendapat kesempatan menjadi profesor tamu di Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria. 

Kegiatan riset dan publikasi bersama yang dilakukan Adi berjudul “Artificial Intelligence-based Motion Capture in Virtual Reality for Enhancing Creative STEAM Education”. Kegiatan ini berlangsung sejak 26 September 2023 sampai dengan 5 Oktober 2023.

Selain melakukan riset kolaborasi, Adi juga dijadwalkan menjadi visiting professor di Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria program doktoral pada Department of STEM Education. Di sana ia akan mengampu dua mata kuliah yaitu Advanced Research Method in Education 1 dan Introduction to Research Method in Education 1.

Kegaiatan yang berlangsung dari 5 Oktober 2023 sampai dengan 1 Desember 2023 ini merupakan bagian dari Program Teaching Fellow Austria.

Rangkaian kegiatan lain yang dijadwalkan bagi dosen FMIPA UNNES ini saat di Johannes Kepler University Linz adalah menjadi co-promotor untuk PhD Students, melakukan riset dan publikasi bersama dalam Virtual Reality STEM Trails Project, serta menjadi bagian penyusunan proposal project kolaborasi konsorsium internasional.

Sebelum melakukan riset kolaboratif dan jadi visiting professor Adi telah memperoleh pengakuan internasional melalui publikasi karya ilmiah, termasuk bukunya. 

Pria yang menyelesaikan pendidikan S3-nya di University Frankfurt ini antara lain menulis buku  Learning Mathematics in a Mobile App-Supported Math Trail Environment yang diterbitkan Springer. 

Ia juga merupakan kreator aplikasi MathCityMap, aplikasi pembelajaran matematika yang mengemas pembelajaran matematika dalam bentuk trail di lingkungan terdekat. 

Rektor UNNES Prof. Dr. S Martono mengapresiasi pencapaian Adi dan mendorongnya terus berkolaborasi dengan ilmuwan kelas dunia lain. Menurutnya, riset kolaborasi dengan perguruan tinggi terbaik dunia akan berdampak besar dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan publikasi UNNES.
