Dua dosen Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menggelar workshop batik dan permainan tradisional Indonesia di Bangkok, Thailand, Jumat (31/10) lalu. Mereka adalah Wati Istanti SPd MPd dari Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia dan Dr Rodia Syamwil MPd dari Pendidikan Kejuruan.

“Salah satu tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memperkenalkan warisan budaya Indonesia seperti batik dan permainan tradisional. Ini bagian dari upaya memajukan konservasi budaya yang ada di Unnes,” terang Wati.

Kegiatan workshop permainan tradisional diikuti sekitar 30 peserta dar tiga sekolah berbeda di Sport Hall Kedutaan Besar RI di Bangkok. Selain dari Sekolah Indonesia Bangkok, para peserta juga berasal dari Debsirin School dan Sae Nampheung School.

Permainan tradisional yang diberikan dalam workshop antara lain dakon, bekelan, cublak-cublak suweng, dan sudamanda.

“Siswa dari Thailand sangat menyukai permainan tradisional tersebut. Begitu pula dengan siswa-siswa Indonesia yang telah tinggal di Bangkok. Mereka juga mengikuti dengan antusias,” lanjutnya.

Adapaun kegiatan workshop batik diselenggarakan Dhurakij Pundit University pada Senin (3/11) dengan peserta 20 orang yang terdiri atas dosen dan staf di universitas tersebut.

“Program ini sebagai pengembangan kerja sama Unnes dengan Universitas di Thailand. Ke depan kami berharap kegiatan semacam ini dapat diselenggarakan tidak hanya di Thailand, tapi di berbagai negara lain,” katanya.

  1. semoga batik indonesia makin mendunia, warisan nenek moyang kita harus di lestarikan dengan cara yang baik pula.
    mungkin di thailand juga ada semacam dolanan anak tradisional thailand itu sendiri, akan menjadi menarik jika dolanan anak versi indonesia di gabung dengan dolanan anak versi thailand

  2. yang paling penting ialah warga Indonesia itu sendiri yang harus menjaga dan melestarikan budaya . Jangan sampai budaya asli Indonesia diperkenalkan ke mancanegara tapi kita sendiri tidak tahu atau melestarikannya
