Dorong Kreativitas Mahasiswa, Bekraf Adakan Workshop dan Sosialisasi Indonesia Trend Forecasting

Indonesia menjadi salah satu negara di dunia yang memiliki kinerja ekonomi paling hebat. Tahun 2015, tercatat pertumbuhan Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) Indonesia sebesar 4,79%, lebih tinggi daripada pertumbuhan ekonomi global yang diperkirakan hanya mencapai 2,4%.

Iklim yang positif ini tentunya menjadi momen yang tepat bagi pemerintah untuk mengokohkan fondasi perekonomian, terutama pada sektor riil.

Latar belakang inilah yang membuat Badan Ekonomi Kreatif Republik Indonesia (Bekraf) bekerja sama dengan Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) untuk mengadakan Workshop dan Sosialisasi “Indonesia Trend Forecsating Fashion, Desain Produk dan Fashion Ready to Wear” pada Rabu (11/4) di Ruang Seminar, Gedung E13 lantai 3 Dekanat Fakultas Teknik, Kampus UNNES Sekaran, Semarang.

Opening Remarks diisi oleh Deputi Riset, Edukasi, dan Pengembangan Dr. Ing. Abdur Rohim Boy Berawi. Dalam sambutannya, beliau menegaskan fungsi-fungsi Bekraf antara lain inisiator, motivator, inkubator dan fasilitator.

Acara ini diikuti sebanyak 200 peserta, terdiri dari kalangan dosen serta mahasiswa dan kalangan umum. Adapun pembicara antara lain, Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia (DPR RI) Komisi X Drs A H Mujib Rohmat, Kepala Sub Direktorat Metodologi dan Analisis Riset Dian Permanasari. Perwakilan Bekraf Dina Midiani dan Dara Thalia.

Bertindak mewakili Rektor UNNES, hadir Wakil Rektor Bidang Perencanaan dan Kerja Sama Prof YL Sukestiyarno MS PhD.

Workshop diawali dengan diskusi panel yang dimoderatori oleh Prof Sukestiyarno dengan pembicara utama Drs Mujib. Dalam diskusi tersebut, dibahas pentingnya peningkatan ekonomi kreatif di Indonesia terutama dalam aspek riset dan pengembangan.

Hal tersebut melatarbelakangi terbentuknya Bekraf sekaligus menjadi wujud optimisme pemerintah, bahwa ekonomi kreatif pasti akan menjadi tulang punggung perekonomian nasional.

Dalam operasionalnya, Bekraf menetapkan 16 subsektor dari industri kreatif yang menjadi fokus untuk dikelola dan dikembangkan. Subsektor tersebut meliputi Aplikasi dan Pengembangan Permainan; Arsitektur; Desain Interior; Desain Komunikasi Visual; Desain Produk; Fashion; Film, Animasi dan Video; Fotografi; Kriya; Kuliner; Musik; Penerbitan; Periklanan; Seni Pertunjukan; Seni Rupa; serta Televisi dan Radio.
