Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) kembali menunjukkan komitmennya dalam pengembangan pendidikan melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pada Kamis (22/08/2024), Tim Pengabdian Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) UNNES menggelar pelatihan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) Kedalon 02, Kecamatan Batangan, Kabupaten Pati, yang dihadiri oleh sejumlah guru, pengawas sekolah, dan tokoh pendidikan setempat.

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membekali guru-guru Sekolah Dasar dengan praktik baik (Best Practices) dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi serta penulisan artikel ilmiah. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menjadi fokus utama di mana para pendidik diajarkan untuk mengenali perbedaan karakter, motivasi, dan prestasi peserta didik. Hal ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan menjadikan proses belajar mengajar lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan setiap siswa.

Ketua Tim Pengabdian, Dr. Sos. Puji Lestari, M.Si. mengungkapkan pentingnya kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

“Kami sangat senang dengan respon positif yang kami terima dari para peserta. Program ini sangat penting, terutama bagi guru-guru di daerah yang selama ini membutuhkan interaksi akademik dengan perguruan tinggi untuk memperkaya metode pengajaran mereka,” ungkap Wakil Dekan bidang Bisnis, Riset, dan Kerjasama FISIP UNNES itu.

Kegiatan ini tidak hanya mendapatkan perhatian dari para guru, tetapi juga dari perwakilan Koordinator Wilayah (Korwil) UPTD Dinas Pendidikan dan pengawas sekolah setempat. Mereka mengapresiasi upaya UNNES dalam memberikan dukungan kepada guru-guru di daerah yang diharapkan dapat membawa dampak positif dan berkelanjutan bagi pengembangan kualitas pendidikan di Kecamatan Batangan.

Dalam sesi pelatihan, para peserta juga diajak untuk berdiskusi dan berbagi pengalaman terkait tantangan yang mereka hadapi dalam proses pembelajaran. Diskusi ini bertujuan untuk menggali solusi bersama yang dapat diterapkan di kelas masing-masing. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan guru-guru dapat lebih percaya diri dalam menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan mengembangkan metode pengajaran yang lebih inovatif.

Ke depan, UNNES berencana untuk terus melakukan program pengabdian serupa di berbagai daerah, dengan fokus pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat. Melalui program ini, diharapkan dapat tercipta sinergi yang kuat antara akademisi dan praktisi pendidikan, sehingga setiap anak di Indonesia dapat merasakan manfaat dari pendidikan yang berkualitas.
