Dony Kusuma, Presiden Mahasiswa Terpilih

Calon presiden mahasiswa dengan nomor urut tiga, Dony Kusuma, akhirnya terpilih pada pemilu raya (Pemira) mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang periode 2012. Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan, dan Rekreasi (PJKR) Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Unnes itu memenangi pemilihan setelah menyisihkan dua pesaingnya, Titis Firman dan Sukari.

Pengumuman Pemira dilaksanakan pada Rabu (15/12) malam di gedung H lantai I Unnes. Hadir pada kesempatan itu Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Prof Masrukhi berikut staf ahlinya Alamsyah dan Tommi Yuniawan MHum. Selain itu juga hadir Pembantu Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan tiap fakultas dan fungsionaris Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM).

Sebelumnya, seperti dikutip di laman unnes.ac.id, Rabu (15/12) mulai pukul 08.00 hingga 13.00 diselenggarakan pemilihan presiden mahasiswa dan ketua Dewan Perwakilan Mahasiswa (DPM) masing-masing fakultas. Pemilihan dilakukan di tempat pemungutan suara yang tersebar pada semua fakultas di universitas konservasi.

Urutan cara melaksakan hak pilih calon presiden dan DPM adalah pemilih menunjukkan kartu identitas berupa kartu tanda mahasiswa (KTM), kartu rencana studi (KRS), dan atau kartu identitas lain yang ada fotonya kepada Panitia Pemilihan Umum di tiap TPS.

Setelah itu, peserta menulis nama pada daftar presensi kemudian melakukan presensi online dengan cara menuliskan NIM. Setelah itu akan muncul foto, kemudian panitia mencocokkan foto tersebut.  Ada kode dua digid sebagai password untuk masuk ke program memilih calon presiden mahasiswa Unnes periode 2012.

Cara tersebut merupakan yang kedua kalinya diselenggarakan di universitas konservasi dalam pelaksanaan Pemira, sekaligus mendukung program paperless yang digalakkan Unnes, yaitu meminimalisir penggunaan kertas.

Ketua komisi pemilihan umum mahasiswa Unnes Abik Afada berharap, presiden mahasiswa dan ketua DPM terpilih dapat memberikan perubahan dan menjadikan lembaga kemahasiswaaan di Unnes lebih berkarakter. ”Berikan pelayanan yang prima dan wadahi aspirasi mahasiswa tanpa pamrih!” tegasnya.
