Diminati, CLIC Berharap Jadi UKM

Minat mahasiswa baru Unnes belajar fotografi ternyata sangat besar. Paling tidak, itu tergambar dari jumlah mahasiswa baru yang mendaftarkan diri menjadi anggota Club Leasure d’Images Chasseurs (CLIC). Dalam Unnes Fair 2011 kemarin saja, ada 168 mahasiswa yang mendaftarkan diri.

“Jumlah itu baru mahasiswa baru yang mendaftar kemarin, belum termasuk yang sudah beberapa tahun terakhir ini aktif,” kata Tegar Bramasto, ketua CLIC.

Menurut Tegar, 168 calon anggota CLIC telah bertemu Senin (10/10) kemarin di teras audit. Mereka dijadwalkan mengikuti pelatihan dasar fotografi (PDF). PDF akan menjadi semacam pendadaran sekaligus hunting foto bersama.

“Di sana nanti teman-teman akan diberi materi teknik fotografi dasar, kayak angle, triangle, dan komposisi. Ada juga materi jenis-jenis fotografi, seperti foto landscape, human interest, portrait, dan model,” tambah Tegar.

CLIC adalah komunitas fotografi yang berdiri sejak 1994 di Unnes. Lintang Hakim, salah satu anggota klub menyebut, saat itu CLIC menjadi Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM). Sayang, pada 2007 UKM Fotografi itu sempat vakum dan baru kembali bergairah tahun 2009 lalu, hingga kini.

Meski sementara hanya berstatus klub, rekam jejak CLIC tak perlu diragukan. Anggota klub ini berkali-kali memenangi lomba fotografi. “Bayu Rama pernah menjadi juara 1 Peksimida tahun 2010,” Tegar menambahkan, menyebut nama salah satu mahasiswa Jurusan Ekonomi Pembangunan.

Tidak tanggung-tanggung, Krisno Andi, anggota CLIC yang sempat berkarier sebagai fotografer Suara Merdeka Biro Solo, pernah memenangi kontes foto Asia Pasifik.

Serius melakukan regenerasi, CLIC kini mulai menggaet mahasiswa baru. Jauh-jauh hari, materi bagi anggota baru bahkan telah disiapkan. “Sementara memang sebagai hobi, tapi kami akan persiapkan mereka supaya bisa jadi fotografer pro,” lanjut Tegar.

Sore hari, biasanya mereka berkumpul di taman kampus. Selain sharing pengalaman memotret, hasil jepretan biasanya mereka kurasi bersama. Jika foto hasil kurasi terkumpul, barulah pameran digelar.

Memang, sementara ini mereka baru bisa berkumpul di teras dan taman. Tegar berharap, suatu saat klub yang digawanginya bakal menjadi UKM (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa). “Supaya bisa punya sekre, kalau ada pertemuan kan lebih enak” lanjut Tegar.

    Melihat karya-karyanya, CLIC saya kira lebih dari pantas untuk segera di UKM-kan. CLIC saya yakin akan menjadi kantong dokumentasi prakti-praktik terbaik Unnes, sekaligus tempat kita belajar tentang sejarah Unnes di masa depan.

  2. klarifikasi sejarah: UKM fotografi pernah ada di Unnes 1996-1998 kemudian vakum. Pelatihan bagi pewarta foto Semarang “Kabar dari Lengkung Lensa” digelar 11-14 Mei 2004 kerja bareng CLIC, PRISMA, EDENT Univ. Diponegoro–mendahului deklarasi pendirian CLIC 14 Mei 2004. 2006-2007 sempat vakum. 2008-2011 CLIC bergairah kembali dengan hadirnya 4 pegiat muda WIdya Kharisma [kedokteran Undip], Lintang Hakim [FIK Unnes], Bayu Rama Nugraha [FIS], Ruly [FIS]. Upaya legal formal pengajuan kembali CLIC sbg UKM Fotografi & Cinematografi telah disampaikan kepada PR III sejak 2010, tanggapan dan respons positif Rektorat masih dinanti guna mendukung aktivitas dan kreativitas positif di bidang industri kreatif ini. saya pikir dan yakin bahwa CLIC secara strategis dan praksis akan memberi advantages bagi Unnes, dengan melihat multi-mixing media creative industri di masa depan.
