Dibongkar, Kampus Kelud untuk Pusat Pelatihan

Semarang, unnes.ac.id. Kampus Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) di Jalan Kelud Sampangan mulai dibongkar. Sebanyak 26 bangunan, termasuk beberapa gedung di kampus PGSD Ngaliyan dan auditorium yang selama ini sering digunakan untuk resepsi pernikahan dan acara lainnya, tak luput dari pembongkaran.

Pembongkaran itu dilakukan menyusul telah dilakukannya pelelangan pembongkaran bangunan tersebut, Kamis (21/10). Lelang diadakan secara terbuka dengan sistem elektronik di laboratorium komputer Jurusan Matematika FMIPA kampus Sekaran.

“David Sugitanoto dari perusahaan Arta Fauna Abadi yang memenangi lelang dengan harga Rp1,17 miliar, setelah dibuka pada harga Rp639,63 juta. Hasil ini tergolong luar biasa jika memperhatikan antara ketika harga dibuka dan harga akhir,” kata Hendro Partono, pejabat dari Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL) Semarang yang menjadi perantara lelang tersebut.

David mengakui, harga yang dimenanginya tergolong tinggi sekali. “Harga di lelang ini memang tinggi sekali. Toh saya ikut lelang ini bukan semata-mata berhitung soal untung-rugi, tapi juga memburu harga diri,” kata pengusaha yang menyatakan sanggup menyelesaikan pembongkaran audit selama 30 hari kerja dan 21 hari untuk bangunan lainnya itu.

Pusat Pelatihan

Kepala Pusat Humas Unnes Sucipto Hadi Purnomo mengemukakan, setelah pembongkaran, di tempat yang sama akan dibangun auditorium yang lebih besar dan representatif. “Sebulan lagi, kampus Kelud akan mulai kami bangun menjadi training center,” katanya.

Menurutnya, fasilitas itu nantinya tidak hanya digunakan oleh Unnes, tetapi juga bisa dimanfaatkan oleh khalayak umum. “Karena itu, yang sudah telanjur berencana membuat kegiatan di auditorium Kelud, silakan sementara ini mohon dialihkan ke tempat lain,” katanya.

Dia juga mengemukakan, secara bersamaan, Unnes juga akan membangun sejumlah gedung baru di kampus Sekaran. “Gedung yang akan kami bangun antara lain gedung kuliah Fakultas Ekonomi, dekanat, gedung lembaga penelitian, lembaga pengembang pendidikan dan profesi, dan kampung budaya,” katanya.
