Yudi Latif Bicara Spirit Kebangsaan di PKn UNNES

Jurusan Politik dan Kewarganegaraan Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menyelenggarakan seminar nasional bertema “Penguatan Spirit Kebangsaan di Tengah Tarikan Primordialisme dan Globalisme”, pada Sabtu (22/4) di Gedung C7 lantai 3 Fakultas Ilmu Sosial UNNES.

Seminar yang diikuti oleh lebih dari 300 peserta ini, menghadirkan dua pembicara yakni akademisi sekaligus penulis buku Yudi Latif MA PhD dan Guru Besar Jurusan Politik dan Kewarganegaraan UNNES Prof Dr Masrukhi MPd.

Menurut Yudi Latif PhD, saat ini dikalangan generasi muda spirit kebangsaan kian menurun. Hal tersebut diakibatkan adanya pengaruh tarik menarik antara Primordialisme dan Globalisme.

Pengaruh tersebut terlihat semakin jelas dengan hilangnya batas antar negara. Batas-batas tersebut telah hilang akibat mudahnya akses terhadap teknologi dan informasi. Di Era Modern sekarang ini, kemudahan dan kemajuan teknologi tersebut harus diimbangi dengan peningkatan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM).

Sementara, Prof Masrukhi menjelaskan terkait dengan keanekaragamaan Bangsa Indonesia. Indonesia memiliki tingkat diversity lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan negara lain seperti Cina dan India.

Sebagai negara dengan penduduk terbanyak ketiga di dunia, tambahnya, Indonesia harus mampu menjaga keberagaman tersebut dalam bingkai Pancasila melalui penguatan spirit kebangsaan.

Ketua Panitia Tutik Wijayanti berharap, melalui kajian ilmiah semacam ini dapat meningkatkan literasi dan semangat kebangsaan, terutama bagi kalangan sivitas akademika.

Turut hadir Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Wakil Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Bidang Kemahasiswaan, Ketua Jurusan dan Dosen Politik dan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) UNNES.
