Di PKMU, KPK Menyosialisasi Pencegahan Korupsi

Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) menyosialisasikan pencegahan tindak pidana korupsi kepada ratusan anggota Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Penelitian (UKMP) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) dalam talkshow pencegahan korupsi bersama pengurus UKMP, Jumat (20/6) di Pusat Kegiatan Mahasiswa Unnes (PKMU) Kampus Sekaran Gunungpati.

Fungsional di Direktorat Pendidikan dan Pelayanan Masyarakat Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) Doni Mariantono mengatakan sosialisasi tentang pemberantasan korupsi terhadap pelajar tidak perlu disampaikan secara detail. “Hal terpenting, justru mengajarkan nilai-nilai dan pendidikan karakter,” ujarnya.

Apalagi, kata dia, pendidikan karakter cukup penting bagi generasi muda karena generasi muda sekarang mulai kehilangan karakter.

Sementara itu, Presiden UKMP Unnes Hudi Hermawan mengungkapkan, sosialisasi tentang pencegahan tindak pidana korupsi ini, merupakan tindak lanjut dari kerjasama antara UKMP Unnes dengan KPK yang sudah berjalan sejak awal Januari. Bentuk kerjasama ini pihak KPK menyerahkan buku bacaan untuk TK dan SD, kaos, dan gantungan kunci sebagai media pendidikan anti korupsi.

“Media tersebut sudah kami gunakan ke SD Negeri 1 Sayung Demak, SD Negeri 1 Pulau Panjang Banten, TK Kendal, dan TK Mijen. Selain itu kami juga memberikan workshop Quantum Parenting di SD IT Bina Insani Banyumanik, katanya sembari berharap Para pelajar yang mengikuti kegiatan tersebut dituntut berperan aktif mensosialisasikan pemberantasan korupsi.

Selain itu, KPK memberikan tantangan untuk meneliti buku dari KPK dan membuat buku untuk SD tentang anti korupsi. KPK juga akan menyelenggarakan lomba tingkat nasional yaitu lomba membuat media kreatif dan lomba pembelajaran tingkat nasional, “Dalam hali ni UKMP diberikan amanah untuk mempublikasikan lomba ini kesekolah-sekolah maupun masyarakat umum. Kedepan UKMP diharapkan menjadi poros utama kaitannya dengan penelitian untuk menciptakan generasi muda tanpa korupsi,” katanya.
