Di Aceh, 20 IKA PTN Gelar Deklarasi Kebangsaan

Para alumni dari 20 universitas negeri se-Indonesia menggelar deklarasi kebangsaan di kampus Universitas Syiah Kuala (Unsyiah). Acara ini dipusatkan di dua lokasi yakni Gedung Academic Activity Centre (AAC) Dayan Dawood dan Lapangan Tugu Darussalam, Rabu (20/12).

Acara bertema “Meneguhkan Peran Alumni dalam Menangkal Radikalisme di Perguruan Tinggi” ini turut dihadiri oleh Wagub Aceh Nova Iriansyah.

Aminullah Usman selaku ketua panitia penyelenggara yang juga Walikota Banda Aceh menyebutkan, kegiatan ini digelar dalam rangka menumbuhkan kepedulian para alumni untuk ikut mengambil peran aktif dalam upaya mencegah dan menangkal gerakan radikalisme di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.

Ia juga menyampaikan, kegiatan ini merupakan wujud manifestasi peran serta dan kontribusi kita bersama dalam menjaga keutuhan bangsa dan Republik Indonesia agar benar-benar dapat menjadi bangsa pemenang di masa yang akan datang.

Para peserta kegiatan, sebutnya, terdiri dari dua orang utusan atau delegasi dari 20 universitas negeri di Indonesia. Para peserta merupakan Pengurus/Utusan Organisasi Himpunan/Ikatan Alumni Universitas Negeri dari seluruh Indonesia.

Adapun agenda utamanya yakni orasi kebangsaan, pernyataan sikap dan ikrar bersama, pelepasan 1.000 balon merah-putih, dan Pentas Seni Sabang-Merauke yang menampilkan tarian tradisional Aceh dan Papua oleh para mahasiswa asal Aceh dan Papua.

Demikian juga dengan Perwakilan dari DPP IKA UNNES Dr Wirawan Sambodo MT menyampaikan, Himpuni tidak hanya berkarya utk NKRI namun juga pada Almamater masing-masing agar mahasiswa sebagai generasi penerus calon pemimpin bangsa agar tidak terkena paham radikalisme, dan menghargai perbedaan. Bila Indonesia, dipimpin oleh generasi muda yang cendekia menghargai perbedaan maka bangsa Indonesia akan menjadi negara adidaya.
