Dewan Penyantun UNNES Terbentuk, Berpartisipasi Konkret untuk Kemajuan Pendidikan Tinggi

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) resmi memiliki Dewan Penyantun Pendidikan. Dewan Penyantun terdiri dari 14 tokoh nasional yang memiliki kepedulian dan komitmen luar biasa untuk berkontribusi memajukan pendidikan tinggi di Tanah Air, khususnya UNNES.

Rektor UNNES Prof. Dr. S Martono MSi menyerahkan Surat Keputusan NOMOR T/3309/UN37/HK.02/2024 tentang Dewan Penyantun kepada 14 tokoh tersebut, Rabu (7/8) di Kantor Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian, Jakarta.

Turut hadir dalam penyerahan  SK tersebut, Ketua Majelis Wali Amanat (MWA) UNNES Dr Hendrar Prihadi, Ketua Senat Akademik Universitas (SAU) Dr Sucipto, Sekretaris MWA Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman, juga Wakil Rektor II UNNES Prof. Heri Yanto, Ph.D.

Dalam SK disebutkan bahwa tugas dan tanggung jawab Dewan Penyantun Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Semarang adalah memberikan pendanaan pendidikan bagi mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang.

Menko Perekonomian Dr (H.C.) Airlangga Hartarto menjadi penasihat Dewan Penyantun. Adapun pengusaha nasional Gunawan Tjokro yang juga anggota Majelis Wali Amanat (MWA) Universitas Negeri Semarang didaulat menjadi Ketua.

Selain keduanya, terdapat 12 pengusaha nasional yang masuk menjadi anggota Dewan Penyantun. Mereka adalah Ivan Cokro Saputra (PT Gunanusa Eramandiri, Tbk), Harris Pranatajaya (PT Bumimulia Indah Lestari), Tony T. Hambali (PT Dynaplast), dan Bachtiar Lasiman (PT Multi Welindo).

Selanjutnya, Igianto Joe (PT Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk), Ridwan Rachmat (PT Hartaperindo Sejahtera), Santoso (PT Palm Mas Asri), Maria Elizabeth Juanita (PT Mitrapak Eramandiri), David Atmadja (PT Mayora Tbk), Stefanus Indrajaya (PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk), Jemmy Tamstil (Patria Group), dan Azalia (Yayasan Wings Peduli).

Rektor UNNES Prof. Dr. S Martono MSi mengungkapkan bahwa UNNES sangat berterima kasih atas kepedulian para tokoh yang masuk dalam Dewan Penyantun tersebut.

Terbentuknya Dewan Penyantun Pendidikan UNNES merupakan bukti konkret partisipasi masyarakat dalam memajukan pendidikan tinggi, khususnya UNNES.

Sebelumnya, 14 tokoh tersebut telah berinisiatif menghimpun dana yang akan digunakan untuk pengembangan universitas. Hingga Senin (5/8) setidaknya telah terkumpul dana sebesar Rp2,2 miliar yang akan disalurkan dalam bentuk beasiswa kepada mahasiswa UNNES.
