Dekan FIS Pimpin Penanaman Mangrove di Pantai Tirang

Civitas akademika Fakultas Ilmu Sosial (FIS) Unnes mengadakan penanaman mangrove di Pantai Tirang, Tugurejo Kecamatan Tugu Semarang, Sabtu (25/6). Penanam dipimpin Dekan Drs Subagyo MPd. Sebanyak 1.200 pohon ditanam dalam kegiatan itu.

Kegiatan ini merupakan kali kedua dilakukan FIS. Sebelumnya kegiatan serupa dilaksanakan Mei lalu untuk memperingati Hari Lingkungan Hidup.

“Melalui penanaman ini, FIS ingin meneguhkan semangat konservasi yang telah ditegaskan oleh Unnes. Unnes sebagai universitas konservasi merupakan cita-cita luhur yang peduli terhadap masa depan bumi dan manusia, sehingga harus didukung oleh seluruh civitas akademika, sesuai dengan bidang aktivitasnya masing-masing, termasuk penanaman mangrove,” kata dekan FIS itu.

Penanaman Mangrove merupakan bagian dari rangkaian kegiatan Semarak FIS SMART 2011, yang kali ini mengangkat tema “Hidup Selaras dengan Alam, Harmoni dalam Hubungan Sosial”. Selain menanam, civitas akademika FIS Unnes juga memantau dan merawat Mangrove yang telah ditanam.

    aku meh sombong,, FBS udah pernah menanam mangroove sebanyak 2000 tahun kemaren, insya Allah besok tanggal 26-27 juli akan menanam lagi 3000, di pulai tirang desa tapak, tugu rejo semarang, tolong di bantu yach,,,, hehehe

    berapapun jumlah bibit yang kita tanam, sertakan semangat merawat setelahnya. karena persentase kehidupan bibit akan rendah tanpa disertai perawatan..

    Mari lestarikan mangrove dan pesisir..
