Dari Panggih, Ngidak Endhog, hingga Sungkeman

Erwan Jangkung dan Desviana begitu percaya diri memeragakan diri sebagai sepasang pengantin. Mereka berdua berdandan lengkap bak sepasang mempelai yang malam itu dinikahkan. Semua peralatan dan kelengkapan pun dibuat seperti aslinya, mulai dari keluarga besan dari kedua mempelai, sasana pengantin, dan iringan yang dibawakan langsung oleh UKM Karawitan.

Acara wisuda panatacara Kridhamadu, Rabu (9/11) malam di gedung B6 FBS Unnes itu juga dimeriahkan tari gambyong yang dibawakan UKM Tari Klasik, pembacaan macapat, dan geguritan. Hadir pada kesempatan itu Pembantu Dekan Bidang III FBS Dewa Madhe Kartadinata, Ketua Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa Agus Yuwono MSi, dosen, dan para pemateri yang telah memberikan pelatihan.

Upacara pengantin yang diperagakan adalah  panggih (bertemunya kedua mempelai setelah akad nikah), gantal (melempar daun sirih ke masing-masing pengantin), dan ngidak endhog (menginjak telur). Selain itu, pengantin putri mencuci kaki pengantin putra, meminum air degan, sinduran (berjalan mundur menuju sasana pengantin), timbangan (kedua mempelai duduk di atas bapak pengantin putri), kacar-kucur (pengantin putra mengucurkan uang receh), dulangan (saling menyuapi), dan sungkeman (memohon doa restu kepada orang tua).

“Saya sangat mengapresiasi berbagai kegiatan mahasiswa, terutama yang berhubungan dengan tradisi. Melalui pawiyatan panatacara ini, saya yakin budaya Jawa yang adiluhung tidak akan pernah punah dan selalu terjaga,” kata Dewa Madhe Kartadinata saat memberi sambutan.

Pada waktu yang sama, Agus Yuwono juga berharap dari kegiatan itu mahasiswa dapat mendapat bekal yang memadai dalam hal kepewaraan berbahasa Jawa.

Ketua Panitia Heri Purnomo mengatakan, wisuda angkatan III itu diikuti 35 mahasiswa yang selama setahun mendapat materi dan pengalaman tentang panatacara. “Saya berharap teman-teman dapat mengamalkan apa yang telah didapatkan dan jangan berhenti belajar,” tandasnya.
