Cetak Beautypreneur Muda, UNNES dan Martha Tilaar Group Gelar Seminar “Glow Economy”

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) berkolaborasi dengan Martha Tilaar Group dalam menyelenggarakan seminar inspiratif bertajuk Glow Economy: Beautypreneurs Take the Lead pada Kamis (9/10/2025) di Auditorium Prof. Wuryanto, UNNES. Kegiatan ini menjadi ruang bagi mahasiswa untuk mengenal lebih dekat industri kecantikan sekaligus menggali peluang menjadi beautypreneur di era ekonomi kreatif.

Acara yang dihadiri lebih dari 1000 mahasiswa dari berbagai fakultas ini menghadirkan sejumlah pembicara ternama yang merupakan pendiri brand kecantikan lokal. Mereka adalah Bryan Tilaar, Direktur Utama PT Martina Berto Tbk yang hadir mewakili Dr. Kilala Tilaar selaku CEO Martha Tilaar Group; Titania Fairuskha, co-founder Raine Beauty; Emyranza, founder Smith; serta Muhammad Hidayatullah dan Raafi, duo pendiri Brighty.

Dalam sambutannya, Wakil Rektor I UNNES, Prof. Dr. Zaenuri, M.Si., Akt., menyampaikan apresiasinya atas terselenggaranya kegiatan kolaboratif ini. Ia berharap para mahasiswa UNNES dapat memperoleh banyak insight dari pengalaman dan kisah para pembicara.

“Melalui seminar ini, kami ingin mahasiswa memahami konsep glow economy, yaitu ekonomi yang tumbuh dari industri kecantikan, serta semangat beautypreneurship yang dapat membuka lapangan kerja baru dan memberi nilai tambah bagi masyarakat,” ujarnya.

Prof. Zaenuri juga menambahkan bahwa semangat beautypreneur tidak hanya tentang membangun bisnis, tetapi juga tentang kreativitas, inovasi, dan keberlanjutan.

“Kami berharap mahasiswa UNNES dapat belajar bahwa di balik setiap produk kecantikan ada nilai-nilai lokal, riset ilmiah, dan semangat pemberdayaan yang bisa menjadi inspirasi bagi masa depan,” lanjutnya.

Selama acara berlangsung, para pembicara berbagi kisah perjalanan mereka dalam membangun merek lokal hingga mampu bersaing di industri kecantikan nasional. Mereka menekankan pentingnya memahami pasar, menjaga kualitas produk, serta menjunjung etika bisnis dalam setiap langkah wirausaha. Sesi tanya jawab yang interaktif pun menambah semarak suasana, menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari para peserta.

Selain mendapatkan wawasan dan motivasi, peserta juga berkesempatan mengikuti berbagai fun games serta memperoleh free product dari brand-brand ternama seperti Sariayu, Brighty, Raine Beauty, Smith, dan ESQA. Kegiatan ini diakhiri dengan ajakan bagi generasi muda untuk terus berani bermimpi dan mengambil peran dalam membangun ekonomi kreatif Indonesia.

Dengan semangat Glow Economy, UNNES terus mendorong mahasiswanya untuk tidak hanya menjadi pencari kerja, tetapi juga pencipta peluang. Kolaborasi bersama Martha Tilaar Group ini menjadi bukti nyata bahwa sinergi antara dunia pendidikan dan industri mampu melahirkan generasi beautypreneurs yang berdaya saing, berkarakter, dan berkontribusi bagi kemajuan bangsa.
