Car Free Day UNNES, Diharapkan Bisa Tumbuhkan Jiwa Kewirausaha Dikalangan Mahasiswa

Untuk menjadi negara maju, Indonesia harus memiliki setidaknya 2% jumlah wirausaha dari total pendudu. Saat ini jumlah wirausaha masih kurang masih berkisaran 1,6% atau 4,6 juta dari 290 juta penduduk di Indonesia.

Hal ini merupakan agenda besar bagi pemerintah untuk menumbuhkan bibit-bibit wirausaha baru dikalangan pemuda utamanya mahasiswa.

Ketua Badan Pengembang Bisnis UNNES Prof Dr Sucihatiningsih Dian Wisika Prajanti MSi menyampaikan itu saat memberi sambutan pada Car Free Day.

Tujuan Car Free Day ini selain menumbuhkan jiwa wirausaha dikalangan mahasiswa juga sebagai sarana berpola hidup sehat di lingkungan konservasi UNNES. Soft opening dilaksanakan pada Minggu, 1 April 2018 dan diadakan rutin setiap Minggu pagi dengan konsepan menarik dan have fun dikelola oleh kolaborasi Himpunan Pengusaha Muda (HIPMI) PT UNNES dan BEM KM UNNES.

Program ini diisi lebih dari 100 lapak untuk jualan yang didominasi oleh mahasiswa, senam pagi, kegiatan sosial, kebudayaan tradisional, dan berbagai komunitas pun turut meramaikan diantaranya lomba menghias tong sampah, penampilan tari tradisional, serta pagelaran musik oleh Animato.

Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rohman MHum sangat mengapresiasi Car Free Day ini dan berharap dapat terus berkembang sebagai tempat memasarkan produk-produk usaha mahasiswa UNNES.

Hal yang sama juga disampaikan Kepala Desa Sekaran, Nur Patoni bahwa pihak kelurahan turut membantu dalam hal publikasi kepada masyarakat agar ikut meramaikan kegiatan Car Free Day yang diadakan setiap minggu pagi di kampus UNNES, selain itu juga menambah kesejahteraan ekonomi warga sekitar kampus.

Anindya Ardiansari SE MM pendamping HIPMI PT UNNES berpesan agar Car Free Day ini terus dikembangkan dengan berbagai inovasi kegiatan didalamnya sehingga kreativitas mahasiswa terus diasah, dapat menghasilkan enterpreneur-enterpreneur muda sebagai lokomotif atau penggerak pembangunan bangsa.

Rhima Erfiana, salah satu pengisi lapak di Car Free Day mengatakan, kegiatan seperti ini bisa menjadi wadah bagi mahasiswa untuk menyalurkan bakat wirausahanya, tempat hiburan, memperbanyak relasi, dan bersinergi dengan wirausaha muda lainnya di UNNES. Harapannya kegiatan ini semakin ramai dan lebih banyak didatangi sehingga konsumen bisa bertambah.
