Busana Daur Ulang Ramaikan Pembukaan Dies Natalis Unnes ke 51

Busana daur ulang turut serta meramaikan upacara pembukaan Dies Natalis ke 51 Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes). Ajang pamer busana berbahan daur ulang bertema konservasi ini digelar di Lapangan Prof Dumadi Kampus Sekaran Gunungpati, Selasa (1/3).

Menurut Penanggung Jawab Dies Natalis Unnes ke 51 Dr Nur Qudus MT, eksplorasi bahan daur ulang untuk busana serta asesoris ini diperagakan oleh mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) Fakultas Teknik Unnes. “Sedangkan pengambilan tema Konservasi di antaranya untuk menunjukan keberadaan jurusan PKK FT dalam memberikan kontribusi untuk Unnes menuju Universitas Konservasi,” jelasnya.

Kostum daur ulang dari kertas bekas, plastik bekas, dan botol air mineral bekas ini mendapat sambutan baik dari Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum.

Rektor menuturkan, Unnes tetap akan meningkatkan kinerja sebagai upaya pelayanan terhadap masyarakat serta konsisten menjadi Universitas Konservasi yang paling diminati masyarakat.

“Hal ini sesuai dengan apa yang diangkat Unnes sebagai Universitas Konservasi, dimana salah satu satunya adalah pengelolaan limbah, yaitu seperti apa yang ditampilkan mahasiswa ini,” ucap Rektor.

Prof Fathur menambahkan, jika para mahasiswanya tidak memiliki nilai budaya dan kreatifitas maka karnaval busana konservasi ini sulit terlaksana.

Penganugerahan dari Museum Rekor Indonesia (MURI), penghargaan dari Lembaga Prestasi Indonesia–Dunia (Leprid), dan seribu penari konservasi juga ikut meramaikan pembukaan Dies Natalis Universitas Konservasi ke 51.
