
Semarang, August 7, 2025 – Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) once again welcomed a benchmarking visit from the Widya Husada Semarang Education Foundation (YPWHS) and Widya Husada Semarang University (UWHS). This visit aimed to study the management, operations, and services of the UNNES Health Service Center (Puslakes) as an initial step in establishing a clinic by UWHS.
The activity took place on Friday, August 1, 2025, starting at 08.00 AM WIB in the Meeting Room of Puslakes UNNES. The visiting delegation, consisting of the Vice Rector for Non-Academic Affairs of UWHS and the Chairperson of YPWHS along with his team, was warmly welcomed by the Head of BOAB UNNES, the Manager of Puslakes, and several Heads of Divisions at Puslakes UNNES.
Dr. Moh Solehatul Mustofa, M.A., Head of BOAB UNNES, warmly received the visit of Doddy Karyanto Budisantoso, S.T., M.BA., M.Kes., Chairperson of YPWHS and his entourage. The visit reflects the spirit of collaboration between higher education institutions and is expected to support the development and establishment of the planned clinic.
The event began with welcoming remarks from the Head of BOAB, followed by a speech from the Chairperson of YPWHS, who elaborated on their intent to gain a deeper understanding of the process of clinic establishment and management. The session also included the screening of institutional profiles from both BOAB UNNES and Widya Husada Semarang University, as well as a presentation session.
An explanation on the management of Puslakes UNNES was delivered by the Puslakes Manager, dr. A Setyo Wahyuningsih, M.Kes., while technical insights regarding clinic establishment and BPJS Health management were presented by dr. Hasti Widyastari, Head of the Administration and Clinic Management Division.
Following a lively discussion and Q&A session, the event continued with a tour of several Puslakes service facilities. Both parties also exchanged souvenirs as a token of appreciation and a symbol of future collaboration.
This benchmarking activity is expected to serve as a stepping stone toward strategic cooperation between the two institutions, as well as a valuable knowledge exchange in the development of quality and sustainable healthcare services.
