BPB UNNES Semarang – The UNNES Business Development Agency (BPB) received a comparative study visit from the Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPN) on Tuesday, August 29 2022 in Building H, Floor 4 Room 405. This visit was attended by Deputy Dean 1 Mr. Dr. Henry B H Sitorus, ST., MT and Deputy Dean 2 Mrs. Dra. Sargi Br. Ginting, MM along with the entire group of 30 people. As for BPB UNNES, Mr. Dr. Amir Mahmud, S.Pd., M.Si. as Chairperson of BPB and Mrs. Dr. Indah Anisykurlillah S.E., M.Sc. Act. As BPB Secretary along with all BPB staff.
At the reception of this visit, the Head of BPB said in his remarks that “communication between UNNES and UPN was very active because of the previously established application development collaboration. So we are happy to receive a visit from the FT UPN group.” Mr. Amir added that “BPB was given the task of developing existing businesses at UNNES. Since UNNES became a Public Service Agency (BLU) in the first batches of tertiary institutions to become BLU, and arrangements were made including the formation of BPB in 2016. In terms of financial governance, UNNES has used WTP (Unqualified) since 2010 so that it can be accounted for by Good”
Deputy Dean 1 of FT UPN Veteran Jakarta also said that “UPN also feels that there is chemistry with UNNES, because we learned a lot from UNNES and expressed our gratitude for receiving this group’s visit. During this visit we wanted to see directly the businesses being developed at UNNES and wanted to learn about business and asset development as well as financial management at UNNES because UPN status had become BLU since May 31, 2021, so we had to move quickly to organize and develop, especially in the Faculty of Engineering”
The event continued with the presentation of souvenirs by UPN and UNNES and a group photo. After that, continued the presentation and explanation of BPB and the efforts carried out at UNNES including HR and financial management by the Head of BPB. This was followed by questions and answers from the FT UPN group to BPB until the afternoon break, and the event was closed.
After the event, the group was invited by BPB to visit the Innovation House at LPPM UNNES, FT UNNES to see the product gallery for the PKK Department, and finally visited the KWU UNNES Building to see the businesses at KWU UNNES.
