Berkah Dies, Cleaning Service Peroleh Honda Beat

Ribuan orang memadati lapangan Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK) Unversitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) untuk mengikuti pembukaan Dies Natalis Unnes ke 50, Kamis (5/3).

Selesai senam konservasi dilanjutkan arak-arakan menuju halaman belakang gedung Rektorat Unnes untuk meyaksikan hiburan musik dan pengundian door prize. Panitia menyediakan door prize utama dua sepeda motor. Selain itu 13 sepeda, 3 kulkas, mesin cuci, 2 TV dan 9 handphone serta lebih dari 300 hadiah menarik dibagikan.

Ketua panitia Prof Dr Wiyanto MSi didaulat mengambil 1 kupon undian utama sepeda motor Beat dan membacakannya. Nama Dedi Candra mengalun melalui sound system, sontak Dedi Candra terhenyak dan bergegas menuju panggung untuk mencocokkan kupon undian dan data pribadi. Panitia menyatakan cocok sehingga Dedi Candra berhak atas satu hadiah utama berupa sepeda motor Beat terbaru.

Dedi Candra merupakan karyawan Unnes bagian cleaning service yang bertugas menjadi sopir mobil sampah. Sudah tiga tahun dia setia mengabdi menjaga kebersihan kampus dengan gaji yang tak begitu besar, namun dia selalu bersyukur.

“Saya bersyukur dapat ikut andil menjaga kampus konservasi walaupun hanya sebagai sopir sampah dan gaji yang sedikit. Saya mengucapkan terima kasih pada Unnes, di hari Dies Natalis ke 50 ini saya diberi berkah oleh Allah melalui Unnes sebuah sepeda motor Beat Baru,” tutur Dedi Candra saat mencoba sepeda motor barunya.

Sebagai sopir mobil sampah, Dedi Candra berharap agar pimpinan Unnes dapat memajukan kampus dan mempertahankan konservasi serta dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawan terutama cleaning service.
